I have just introed myself and I am already here with a question. Well, at my age, 60 going on 61 I have been advised not to inject testosterone which I wanted to do, but well, I have resigned not to a strong reason is hard to get good t on the b.m and doctors shy away from prescribing it. What is for you all the best replacement for a shot of testosterone, if there is one. One that is bought eg at gnc etc will appreciate your intake on that. thank you so much for any hints I know I wont increase in size at this age but I want to maintain a decent shape and I need some more stamina at this stage of the game hahaha.

If you have low t I suggest testosterone. If you want to run a first cycle I suggest a little more testosterone.

Yes, I have lower than normal levels perhaps because of age don't know has been reflected in a low sex drive and trouble sleeping well.
But the doc wants to run tests before prescribing any t he is asking me to go to the heart doc and check how my ticker is doing and he also wants to check my prostate which last time they checked was very good for a senior guy. I feel fine I just want to work out a bit but I feel I need something ti help me. I'm not definitely going they all that checkup.

What is your testosterone level on your blood work, out of curiosity?

Lower than 240 I think it was 210. I am going for my next blood work in 15 days, the one that I do every year. then I will know the exact level. Thanks for your interest.

Your Dr is an asshole if he doesn't script you testosterone at that level. That pussy may at best refer you to an endocrinologist. Please tell me your GP is not a female.

Ask what they would do if you were deficient in any other hormone other than testosterone? Say diabetic or you had a hypothyroid? Or if You were a female going through menopause? You'd walk out with a script for any of that.

Don't take no for an answer. Get this fixed. You only have a few more laps around the Sun and you don't want to spend it feeling like shit.

where can I get it, good t I mean or a good supplement. thanks

Your best bet is to get it from a medical professional.

Ideally, your Dr will refer you to an endocrinologist or a urologist, since most primary care Dr's show a reluctance to treat this medical condition, which baffles me.

Thank you for your reply. an asshole he is. And not to throw aspersion on women who are docs but I had to dump my last doc cos she was a woman and she ewas totally against prescribing test to me. This gp I have now would do it but he's making me jump thru all this hoops of testing my prostate my heart and all that crap. I have told him I feel fine and he has acknowledged that I am in fairly good shape for my age, but he has to make sure my prostate and my heart is okay and all that crap. Any good replacement for real t out there on the gnc's etc???
thank you for your support! I appreciate it.

Yes, I will try again and even submit to tests if he wants me to again. In the meantime, any supplement that might perk my low t up a bit that you know of?.
Thanks, buddy, for your reply.

I personally have found no supplement that lives up to its advertising and promise to increase test levels.
Your doctors, especially the previous one, have more than likely bought into the perceived global threat of something called "toxic masculinity". We apparently should all be sitting under a tree, shoeless and playing an acoustic guitar to songs with feelings.

At your age the doctor is doing the responsible thing by having you get your prostate checked and your heart check.
I felt perfectly fine until one day I didn't was in ER with EGFR of 17, anything below 30 is renal failure. The tests he's asking for would delay you a week in getting the prescription.

I cannot think of anything you can walk into a supplement store for that's worth a damn anymore

gee, that was close to kidney failure. Yes, you're right. I will take the tests. There's no other way I can get him to script me test. I understand he has to cover his butt. I was wondering if there was something in a pill form or powder that could be taken to enhance the workout a little bit, but as I am perfectly able to judge by your comments, you all coincide on that there's nothing of worth to be had at the pharmacies.
Thanks a lot for your comment.

No, they're all junk.

Good sleep, good nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle will yield better results.

You're right!.
One friend recommended this pills to me. I want to have your take on these:
Anadrol-50, Oxandrin, Winstrol . he told me they could help with endurance and fatigue and with the libido cos they're related to testosterone.

Those are not testosterone boosters.

Those are anabolic steroids, and they will shut down your natural testosterone production.

They are not over the counter drugs, they are illegal to have, buy, or sell.

Go the testosterone route through your medical team. You'll find it's a much better road to travel.
