Hi all,

First homebrew, going to give carnitine a whirl. Will ALCAR work or does it need to be pure l-carnitine?

Thanks!

Appreciate the reply Thrawn. Thank. you. I've done my due diligence but can't seem to find any information on how to control for ph. Obviously it's easy enough to test for but what compound are people using to reduce acidity? I believe citric acid might be one?

Citric acid, acetic acid, sodium bicarbonate, and there's another one I use but I can't remember the damn name it's in pellet form I have at the house. Just remember to short your water because you never know how much acid or base you have to put in. I usually short it about 8 ml per 100 ml solution. Make my adjustments from there.

I home brew L-carn for using this method. 600mg/ml no pain.
