bcaa study and info

Well, I agree that bcaa's are overhyped and overrated supplement and it's a marketing bull shit for the most part. I frequently get asked by newbies should they buy aminos (referring to bcaa) and I say get creatine and protein supps for that money instead.

However, I like bcaa or more specifically leucine, for it's appetite suppressing effects it has. I do notice it helps me just a bit during a cut and it's usually all I need since I don't drastically reduce my calories or crash diet. Also, it helps me drink more water as it makes water tasty, not that I have a problem drinking water, but it's nice to have delicious water on hand during summer in our interesting climate.

My protein doesnt get restricted in prep.
Same exact protein, if not even a bit higher, than in the offseason. So BCAAs have no point IMO under such a diet

There is is there, pretty much a useless item, so much in whole foods as it is.
