This was before starting TRT, correct?

4-6 weeks after starting TRT. I prefer 6.

Actually not awful. There's more competition now, they can't screw us as badly.

Yes, that was my "before" test results.

Thanks so much CJ! You actually cleared up quite a bit for me here, as well as the other guys contributing. I am VERY glad that I stumbled into this forum & started reading & asking questions. Honestly, this body chemistry knowledge base is overwhelming, but I think I'm starting to untangle the knot a little. I'm actually looking forward to my next blood test so I can start comparing before & after levels.

As I'm 57 (and snipped), I'm not worried about fertility issues, because there should never BE any future fertilizations. I BETTER never have any issues there! Haha!

Are you overweight? I ask because your estradiol was fairly high prior to TRT.

More frequent, but smaller injections, usually help to mitigate this problem. The bigger the bolus of testosterone, you'll get a commensurate increase in aromatization. Basically, the higher your peak of Test, the higher your peak of estradiol. Smaller, more frequent injections level off the peaks and valleys.

I have to inject at least 2x per week because I run into DHT conversion issues.

Technically overweight a little if you go by the fitness guidelines, but I'm tall & it doesn't look like it: 6'1" /220 in November, 229 currently after 2 months of working out & Test. This is the heaviest I've even been in my life, but I don't look as heavy as I was at 220.
When I was running regularly, I was down to 195-200, but that was honestly too skinny. I looked a little sick. Lol!

I wouldn't mind twice a week injections. I could do Tues/Fri & half the normal amount. I'll just have to get more needles.

Sometimes if you want to get something done right you have to do it yourself. Most everyone I know is doing well on the cheap using ug test that has been tested by a respected 3rd party.

There is enough information on some forums, that you might be better informed than your GP. That has been my experience.
