so you're saying things without understanding them in full? šŸ˜‚
I had enough of an understanding to answer the OPs questions. The path of additional questions the OP didn't ask, I never claimed to know.
Have you ever answered a question here just based on your limited knowledge or experience without being an expert in the subject?

no, I answer things that I have a thorough understanding of... because I always expect there to be follow up questions.

look lifter, if you knew even a little bit then you'd understand that bioidentical testosterone is a bullshit term. Once the ester is cleaved, all testosterone is the same. Secondly, test no ester would never be prescribed for TRT because it's metabolized too rapidly like @GreenAmine stated. So there's no point in trying to suggest that is what people mean by bio identical... test no ester is not used that way.

So with all this context, the correct answer is that the term "bio-identical" is total marketing bullshit, and that there is no difference between the different esters of testosterone other than their half lives.

The main difference is in accuracy. Bioidentical hormones replicate the exact molecular structure of naturally produced hormones resulting in a hormone that supposedly functions better than the synthetic form which have slight variation in molecular structure.
However, there is little to no evidence that shows that bioidentical testosterone is more effective than typical synthetic testosterone treatment, so yeah, you are likely being enticed to pay more for nothing if someone is pushing bioidentical.
this is what you said.... in addition to being wrong, you then fence ride.

First, it's not more accurate. Secondly, if there's no evidence then why even mention it.. you're putting out information that you don't understand, and that will confuse people who are trying to learn.

Look Lifter, I recommend you sit and learn, instead of trying to teach.

@traverspt then you go on to say this, which is also just wrong... yet you try to spin it as if you're right.

you come off as more concerned about being perceived as correct, than you do caring that the information you're putting out is valid.

Again, all testosterone is the same. There is no bio identical testosterone, it's all the same. So it can't be more effective, again because it's all the same shit. If you're referring to test no ester, then you're still wrong because no one would use that to prescribe TRT... it's metabolized way too quickly to be of any use for that purpose.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.

You didnā€™t answer anything at all though. Why you posted what you posted is questionable.

I donā€™t know shit about quantum physics and Iā€™m sure if i went on a quantum physics forum they would all bash me for not knowing shit.

You try to make a point that you are ā€œentitledā€ to your opinion. Yea sure, but nobody really gives a fuck about your opinion. They come here for experience and knowledge. Not some jackass giving pseudo-Google replies.

@rhino82 sorry bud, I don't like when people come in and leave bad information while pretending to be a subject matter expert. It only hurts members trying to learn, and that rubs me the wrong way.

Lots of guys here have deep wells of knowledge, but there are also others who like to chime and get things completely wrong... typically because they want to feel smart... or something.. I don't know why they do it.

Sorry for the call out of that other member, but it felt necessary. I don't like members to be left to operate with information that is absolutely wrong.

I'll let you have your thread back.

@rhino82, sorry your thread got derailed espcically by a mod. Nothing was wrong with my advice at all. Someone does seem a bit upset though. Very weird. Anyway, good luck.

Synthetic is FDA approve while bio isn't. So that clinic is not a legit clinic?

I'm just confused, because my Kaiser endo would have me on bio is it was better.

I'm not questioning anyone but the clinic.

No not what I'm already producing but Testosterone that they claim is made in such a way that you're body responds to it better and it is made by a compounding pharmacy as opposed to big pharma

That's slang for " We can get your script from a compounding pharmacy cheaper. Then when we refill your script, we upcharge you beyond the cost of pharma test from CVS, Wally World, etc.".
