So I didn't think it would be so expensive using bitcoin. I bought $510 so it gave me 4.25 mBTC. Order total was $446. It said to send .00456719 BTC so I still need how much? .00031719? In dollars approximately how much would this be?Is this right? Plus how much will it cost to send? Thanks for all your help

Didn't you have the option to buy the exact number of BTC that you needed?

If not, just buy a little more than you need.

As for the cost of transferring it, I have no idea.

what company are you using to send it?

It said to send .00456719 BTC
that was at that exact moment.

now $446 is 0.00452839

the value constantly changes.

I send more so that if the exchange rate changes before my transfer is complete I won't be short. good lab will throw in some freebies.

I don't know. It said to buy Bitcoin or another digital currency. Te seller said bitcoin is the best(maybe he just meant a digital currency). This is my first time so I didn't know. Plus I hadn't placed the order yet so I wasn't sure how much it would be. I just thought $66 was more than enough to cover it. I didn't realize it changes so frequently. Maybe that's why the pay by bitcoin now was only good for 12 minutes

Bitcoin is a PITA, you gotta be rather quick with purchasing and sending, and ALWAYS buy just a little more than is needed for any purchase due to rate fluctuation. That’s what I do anyways and never have any issues, plus I keep a little bitcoin anyway just in case I’m shy on being able to purchase the amount I need I have a little backup stash to cover me

Ok I'll keep checking so hopefully I don't have to buy more

Pain In The Ass….. but, it’s only a pain in the ass if you are just now trying to operate with it, and it depends on what app you use to conducts purchases and transfers. I personally use cashapp, I used to use Coinbase back when bitcoin came about

So did I buy when it was low? I bought $20 1st because i wanted to be sure I did it right. I got .14422
Then $50 minutes later and got .39893
Then the next day I bought $440 and got 3.70685
I was just nervous doing it and watching my money go into this machine hoping I was doing it right.

So if I would have bought let's say $30 more so $476, and sent payment shortly thereafter I probably would have been ok?

I guess i learned the hard way where Bitcoin mining comes from, people like me! Yep, I funded it. 🤨 Basically I got taken. I could have done Money gram for $25. You live, you learn. So the good deal I got on the cosmetic products is being ruined by user error. Hopefully i can find a time to make the payment when it's close to what I have in there. Looks like i'm going to have to buy a little bit more. The lowest I could have made the payment for is .00438036 BTW, I used a CoinFlip ATM. I now see there is an actual Bitcoin ATM and a Coinstar Kiosk in my area. Would any of these be better or is it basically the same same thing where I have to buy and send rather quickly? Also, the Coinflip ATM did give me options to buy other currencies. Is this an option. Services were from RB. thanks everyone for all your input!

How much you pay in Bitcoin fees depends on where you buy it from. Different exchanges charge slightly different rates. Those Bitcoin ATMs are the biggest fucking ripoff when it comes to the fees associated with buying Bitcoin. This is a rookie mistake IMO.

Contrary to many opinions in here, Bitcoin is actually one of the easiest ways to make a transaction.
