Back in August my liver values were a little jacked up
Bilirubin 1.5 (Range 0.2–1.2)
AST 61 (range 10-40)
ALT 113 (range 9–46)

Got them re tested this week
Bilirubin in range now 0.9
AST 56 still high
ALT 54 still high

On both test
Protein, globulin, albumin and the ratio all were ok.

In August I had just finished a 4 week run of low dose of tren 100mg weekly and anavar for 8 weeks at 80mg daily on top of 400mg test

Now I am on 200mg test weekly and 300mg of masteron.

May re test one more time in a month and if still elevated may go see a doctor

Curious to see how yalls liver values are on cycle

I was listening to a podcast where they were discussing liver values.

It seems that there's more that goes into it than if one is high, it's bad. They look at them as a whole, and if necessary, then send the patient off for a better test.

If I recall correctly, they also said that values could be elevated for up to a week from hard weight training.

AST and ALT absolutely can be elevated from training.

BUN can be elevated froma high protein diet.

GFR, a calculated value from your creatinine, can be skewed from supplementing with creatine, or by certain diuretics.

This isn't directed at the OP, but everybody in general. Knowing what your lab values mean is just as important as knowing how your PEDS actually work. Otherwise why do them. And while you're at it go ahead and do whatever steroids gym bro tells you to do.

So maybe I shouldn’t worry as much as I am
Only AST and ALT were elevated and by less than points

I don’t put too much stock in Dr Todd Lee but he said there’s only one test a bodybuilder needs for liver and it wasn’t ast or alt. I can’t remember what he said to test though

Off topic, but does that mast affect your estradiol at all?

It's to be expected on cycle. There is no way around it that I know of. Orals are the main offenders and the least effective for long term gains imo. That has been my experience. Unless you are a competitive body builder the less toxic peds are better and safer.

No one thinks steroids are healthy to use, but they sure make you look and feel good

I gotta agree. Orals are fun but I’ve never got anything that lasted from them. I can honestly say the same about tren too. That’s just my personal experience

GGT gamma-glutamyl transferase

A gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) test measures the level of the enzyme GGT in the blood to help diagnose liver problems. A doctor may order a GGT test if they suspect liver damage or disease, or if you have other abnormal liver blood tests.

What numbers for liver health would you focus on?

If you don’t mind sharing other tests you would recommend for guys on cycle

Test
Estrogen
PSA
CBC
Liver function test
Hematocrit

Those are the main ones I am doing regularly. I know I should add in a lipid panel

Well, honestly, honestly the real question is, what are you, or probably most guys using anabolics going to do about your labs. How many guys are going to drop the PEDS and stay off the shit if their labs are out of range? Having lab values within normal limits doesn't mean you're healthy either. Heart disease is insidious and doesn't show up on labs. Just because your lipid panel is low doesn't mean you're not developing heart disease. Labs are only as good as your discipline to actually act on them. Well, my lipid panel was high so I dropped the tren. Well, ok, but your fkn test is at 4000.
I hear people say, I always get labs on cycle, or I always get labs after cycle. Ok, good for you but it tells you not a whole hell of a lot. Liver enzymes, for example. When they get to a level where you actually should be concerned, sorry to say there's damage that's done. Labs are a diagnostic tool, not a preventative one. "All my labs are normal so I must be healthy" is not, in fact, necessarily the case.
I get a full set of labs once a year. If I have an issue I'll go beyond that. Before you think that's a cavalier attitude, keep in mind all the bros on this board who have issues like HTN, cardiac or stroke hx, etc... who use and continue to use PEDS, when the reality is they probably shouldn't be touching the shit in the first place if they really prioritized their health.

That’s a good point. The older I get the more I worry about my health…but tbh that’s all it really is surface level worry.

The reality is we are all taking years off our life by touching PEDS. Some are safer and more health conscious than others

I am def not taking any really moves to mitigate and real long term risk. Sure I don’t use crazy high doses or drink or take other drugs. But labs I don’t do any other medical stuff to take care of my health minus a decent diet and some vitamins

I am starting to wake up and realize I need to do more, the scary thing is what damage is done already? I don’t even really know
