I got Jake Paul in this one. Thirty years is thirty years and a 27 year old can move A LOT better than a 57 year old. I don’t care how much power Tyson could have. He’s not gonna connect when his opponent is literally running circles around him.
I agree with ya cause I believe it’s rigged. But what you say I think is comparable to a fly weight fighting a heavy weight. Sure they can dance circles and land lightning jabs. But they ain’t got the juice for a one strike game changer.

I’m not a fighter so I don’t know. Fact is your guess is as good as mine. But to me if Tyson is just a fraction of his old self he would drop this douche bag in a hurry.

Except Jake Paul is taller (6’1 vs 5’10”) has a longer reach by 5” and is only 20 lbs lighter. Not exactly a fly weight.

I just gauge by trying to keep up with my sons. They’re about 25 years younger. I’d kill em if I got close. But holy fuck they move so much better and for a longer period of time. When you get to 50, it’s all downhill man.

You ain't kidding about getting older , the days of taking both of the boys on at the same time wrestling on the lawn are over.

That being said messing around with Tommy sparring or whatever , there are things he doesn't see or take advantage of all the time and I can get slip a jab or something he telegraphs and I'm all up in his grill.

An I'm no boxer by any stretch of the imagination , I had some training when I was younger , fought in some parking lots and warehouses to pay a few bills when I was bar backing but I am no fucking boxer.

The few times I tried to fight real fighters it was just bad , I got opened up like a can of corn lucky for me i've got a hard fucking head and jaw and a left hand like a cinder block.

But we're talking Mike freaking Tyson ,, even at that age dude ,, if he gets mad or feels like he's being honestly disrespected by this kid ,, I think it's going to wake up something ugly that jake paul just isn't ready for.

Dave Tate talks about digging into the chalk and standing at the bowl and in that moment you become a different version of yourself , something else.

Maybe it's better , maybe its uglier , maybe its volatile and hostile , maybe its smooth and calm .. but some of us become something else.

I won't say everyone because i've seen it at meets now , they warm up , they get ready but they are still the same.

I call it , the thing that lives in the dark .. its the other me. The part of me that when it goes off and gets loose horrible things happen and I can't fully control it until it kicks itself out and I can drag it back into the dark and chain it back up.

We've seen Tyson in interviews we've seen him get into the ring ... and yeah part of it was cus he was geared up .. but he was something different ,, he was not the same man ,, fuck the look in his eye wasn't even human , he was just a killing machine.

If this fights real and not just a bought and paid for exhibition.

Will this kid become something else , someone else ... or is what we're looking at , all there is ?

 :geek:

They’re going to dance around the ring. Land a couple glancing blows. It’ll come down to a “close decision”. One will win, and both with go home richer. I’m just glad it’s not pay per view. I’d hate to see everyone taken advantage of.

I wouldnt pay for it anyways… id find a stream somewhere…

It turns out the league doesn't view Justin Fields the way the media and some fans do. We were told all along that the Bears would trade him for a second round pick, but they settled for nothing close to that.

They were able to get him cheap. Bears only ended up with a 6th round draft pick next year. Russel Wilson is not a kid anymore. I think it makes some sense. Their quarterback play has been dicey over the past two years or so. Perhaps they feel Justin Fields will thrive under the tutelage of a veteran QB.

Plus, they sent Kenny Pickett to the Eagles already. And Mason Rudolph signed with Tennessee.

Even if they view Fields as a backup, he's a high end backup and replaces the other guys they lost.

We were told the Capitals and Wizards moving to Alexandria, VA was a done deal. Now it's being announced the deal was nixed and they're almost certainly staying in the district:

In December, D.C. offered $500 million in upgrades to the arena to keep the teams from moving to Virginia. The agreement announced Wednesday includes an additional $15 million for improvements to the alley connecting Gallery Place to Capital One Arena.

In all, the deal calls for nearly 200,000 square feet of newly programmed space throughout the arena and in the Gallery Place building next door.

“It is an offer that’s not only good for the teams, it’s good for Washington, D.C., and I dare say it’s good for the entire region,” Bowser said. “We, with the teams, have identified additional opportunities to expand their footprint right here in Downtown and we’re also going to invest $15 million in that.”
