My experience is ChatGPT is sometimes wrong, not often wrong.

Then in MY experience you either are asking it things you aren't well educated in, and therefore aren't even aware that you should be asking it clarifying statements to actually get the correct answer, or you're asking it very elementary and non-subjective questions that don't even require an LLC to be able to answer.

Whatever ChatGPT says doesn't negate the fact that I heard it directly from a person who was in the room, or that it's an inferior exercise.

I couldn't find the Tom Platz podcast you referenced, but I did find this YouTube short from Lee Priest which suggests that either (a) Arnold only promoted the Arnold Press as an attention getter, or (b) Arnold was better at doing exercises than he was at designing them:

Geez, you're really hung up on this.

I can't recall which podcast that it was, I listen to so many, from so many different channels.

Let it go, it's really irrelevant information. If someone likes the exercise, then by all means they should do it. It's better than sitting on a couch. Consistency over time is the goal.
