:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: omg dude that had me laughing cus I can just imagine the frustration level holy fuck

P.S. - remind me to teach you how to whistle

With a critter that gets pussy one month out of the year. Behind a doe leaking joy juice I don’t think the “whistle” is gonna do squat. Now u catch one just cruising around then yeah. Years ago I hit one upside the head with my flashlight and he still wouldn’t stop.

He's my claim to fame for white tail , 4th largest in the state that year. He was moving behind me just along the bank of the RR bed ..fucker was sposed to be down the hill in front of me but he was chasing cunt like that ,, one good loud two fingers in the mouth whistle and he stopped dead.

It was freezing rain and sleet that morning ,pussy was the only thing he got out of bed for :ROFLMAO:. Marlin sent a 240 hp into his neck and when the water n ice blew off him he looked like he was made of glass and had exploded.

He dropped right there i started whoopin n hollering , pops n my brother came from their stands ... pop looked at the size of it said ..great, how we gonna get that out of here ... haahahaha

went and got saw and the big red 250 and hauled him out to the truck

Week’s highlights from the stand. Still no shooter but getting better action. Seen some bucks old enough that just aren’t what I’m looking for. One youngster with great genetics I hope makes it a few more years. Try again tomorrow……

That second one is a shooter where I'm at. That's what we hold out for here. That third one is weird looking, like someone photoshopped a rack on a doe, but worth a dirt nap.

Da hell you holding out for?

Can assure u I don’t have the smarts to photoshop lol. It’s just a young buck with great genetics. You can look at the skinny mass in the antlers. That buck didn’t weigh 110lbs on the hoof.

2nd one is a average buck for the area given a bit of age. If I see him tomorrow i would shoot him. But was holding out for an old man. I’m not into strictly score but an old buck makes me happy. It’s rare and takes a lot of time just to see one. But I hold out as long as possible.

But to answer your question. This is the kind I’m after.

I don’t know what to say…. I’m in the midst of a GD season that just won’t end 😂. Yesterday morning I had an older buck coming in. Wasn’t nothing special inches wise in fact he was sorry. A 4-5 year old 5pt, but he was old and heavy. I was cold and ready to end my season. Not sure exactly wtf i did. I either clipped a limb or bowstring caught a piece of clothing. But my arrow flew sideways and I hit the fcker right in the neck.

I waited 2 hours b4 climbing down. Investigated the crime scene and just found a few pin drops of blood. I knew i didn’t hit an artery. But my buddy has a tracking dog so I wanted every opportunity of recovery. 300 yards later when the buck jumped a property fence and headed uphill I knew for certain the shot was not fatal. So called off the search.

Went somewhere else this morning. Didn’t see my first deer til 10:45. A piebald buck! He was a 1.5 year old forkhorn. But those fckers are more rare than a 180” monster. I hunted till 2 and was the only deer seen.

Try again tomorrow…… 😔

I hit a big doe with my truck tonight headed to a gym in Texas.

This is so fucked. My first time hitting one. I did see her at the last minute but really didn't expect her to jump out in front of my truck. I slammed on the brakes but it was too late. She ended up taking off but I doubt she will live.

Deer are fucked like that ,, they will not run some place they are unsure of , like rabbits , they make a "check" and double back to where they know it was safe, she prolly bolted back across the road last minute,,that sucks

In Tx u can kill 3 bucks per season. It’s based on county. But if u hunt multiple counties or reside in a high deer number county u can get 3 bucks every year.

In Louisiana you can kill 3 bucks too.
PA is one Buck only. There was a time about 30 years ago that of you shot a buck, you had to surrender your doe tag. Think about that on the first day of archery in September. Your season could be over quick.

I took a doe on Thursday with the 44 mag. Didn't go as planned. Where I hunt, they come in through the thick stuff so my first glimpse was at 35 yds. Took another 10 more until she turned broadside. One shot, she mule kicked and off she went.

Since I didn't see or hear her go down, I backed out for 30min. No blood for about 70 yds. Tracked her for about another 200 yds and spotted her laying down with her head up. Didn't want to push her so went back in the morning and found her.

Not happy she didn't die in seconds but happy I was smart enough to not push her and lose her

Imagine getting hit center of mass with a .44 and running 270 yards. Good lord.

Way to go with the tracking that is half the battle sometimes. Unfortunately I've had a few blood trails I tracked forever and they dried up and it's gut wrenching when you don't find the animal.

Prepare for a big buck pic!

I hunted every day of November! Many daylight til dark. Seen a shitload of deer. But in something like a thousand hours on stand seen 4 what I call biggens. Didn’t workout and couldn’t ever get a shot with my recurve. Had an old 5pt play the game and I screwed the pooch and ended up hitting him in the dam neck. No recovery 😔

Vacation over, hard to get back in the groove just hunting weekends. I know how hard it is to get a old monarch in front of me and feel I won’t get another crack.

Be the first year in a long time i didn’t get a good one. Try harder next year 😬

You are such a disappointment.
