One of the myriad of weight , plate and bar sites I check and window shop on , Freedom Fitness Equipment.

Spotted this today and know some folks had discussed picking one up for their own gym.

What are some of your sites for equipment that you trust Yano? I might be looking for a few items from time to time.

I'll use these guys , REP fitness ive picked up plates from. I have a Rogue Rack and a couple of bars from Titan Ive got some bands from EliteFTS and wrist wraps that are great.

As far as straps and things like that , belts I get almost all of that from Anderson Powerlifting down in Texas. Nice folks and real good stuff.

This years goal is to finally replace the old bars with new ones from Texas Power Bars , I say finally cus shits blown that idea out of the water for me 2 years in a row haahha.

This site has a little of everything. I like sites that offer used commercial gym equipment.

I almost bought a complete gym looking for deals and gyms going out of business over the year. I had a nice setup at home. During the pandemic I had half a dozen people I knew from the gym coming over.

I sold it all when I last moved and made a nice profit. I only train 3 days a week now, so I didn't need it.

Spending $750.00 for useless equipment is probably a good call for a commercial gym but a horrible mistake for a home gym, unless your home gym is 2000 square feet and you are worth over 5 million dollars.

How do you determine what's "useless" for somebody's home gym?

REP fitness
I was happy with these guys until I bought the dip attachment for my Rep power rack. The thing wobbles horribly. I emailed them about it and they said that they were aware of that issue, that it was designed that way for easy attachment/removal.

Let that sink in: a dip attachment was designed to be wobbly.

Then they proceeded to advertise to me their "new and improved" dip attachment that solves the wobble problem!

No refund, no discount code to replace the piece of shit they sold me.

They also removed my review from their website.

Fuck you Rep 🖕

I'm going to order one from Dean at Black Widow Training Gear. Everything I've bought from him was top-notch quality... Expensive, but worth every penny.

When you can achieve the same or better results with the equipment you already have.

IE. I did not spend $2000.00 on a hamstring curl machine for my home gym because I could get the same and honestly better results withe the equipment I already have.

Now that I got that out of my system, here's the link for Black Widow:

I have his angled multi-grip bar, Viking press attachment, and landmine.

Bret Contreras sells good equipment too. I have his 45° hyperextension bench and his T-Bell. My wife likes his bands and hip thrust pad.

Titan has some good stuff too. I have their 12" strongman log, seal row bar, crash pads, and top-loaded farmer's walk handles.

Kensui has a very good plate-loaded weight vest that I really like.

cool story...

Everyone decides what is "useless" and what isn't. You don't need a 2000sf space to make use of key pieces of equipment, and you don't need to be a millionaire to be able to afford it.

You sure say some really odd things bud. What's right for you doesn't mean it's what's right for someone else, and vice versa. Be more humble.
