As a self diagnosed having GERD, been talking prilosec for years. Now you have me rethink!

I've been taking them for years as well. after my bloods last week I had a huge reality check. Thank God I'm getting surgery for the GERD at the end of the month but damage is done. I've have zero signs. My daughter was in the room with me and the doctor just pointed at circled the paperwork instead of talking.
