I stumbled upon this forum doing research on ORD for my podcast. I won't say the name of it here, because I did not come here to spam you. I came here to learn. and now that I've looked around, perhaps to stay a while make some new friends as well. A bit about me:
I am an old-timer to some extent. I was on SSB as TheClap before ORD took place. As well as several others that I don't remember anymore. My name everywhere else is TheClap, not The Clap like it is here. TheClap was already taken here, which is concerning to me, because I know for damn sure I never have been on this forum before. So if whoever took the name TheClap on this forum did some fucked up shit, please know that he/she took my name. It was not me.
For the record, I am not stating that for certain whoever TheClap is on this forum stole my name. There is a chance they came up with that name all on their own. I just highly doubt it.
My home forum is The Iron Den. Though I may not even have an active account there anymore. I haven't been on for about a year, so I'm sure my VIP status is gone at the very least. The reason I stayed away was because... I'll just tell you the short version. It was for security reasons. I didn't want to jeopardize anyone else in the game. I didn't have a brush with LE, but a guy I had some very close dealings with did. I have every bit of faith in the world that he would never roll on me, which he didn't, but I will never take that chance on other people's behalf.
Thanks, and I look forward to getting to know you all better. Though honestly I am so fucking busy working a full time job, raising our 11 year old non-verbal autistic son, being married, actively involved in staying sober, and producing a damn good podcast that I doubt I'll be on much.

The theme of season one was extraordinary stories from ordinary people, but there are several episodes that deviate from that. It's mostly a comedy podcast, even though we talk about some very serious shit.
As soon as we finish uploading the rest of season one and my landing page is published I'll be happy to share the name. I've taken some precautions to remain anonymous with it, and we don't talk about things that could get me into any real trouble with the law. I am a sober addict and the real incriminating stuff has already passed the statute of limitations. I'm not worried about the law. The only reason I keep it anonymous is to protect my nursing license.
Season two is going to be 10X better than season one though. It will hopefully remain funny, but the theme is corruption and lies. Big medicine, big pharma (particularly cancer, vaccines and mental illness), political entities colluding with big pharma. The military industrial complex and all the needless wars that cost the sons and daughters of this nation their lives and murdered more than a million people on the "other side" so that politicians and the likes of Raytheon could line their pockets with billions of dollars that we paid in taxes. Hell I could do 5 episodes on the corruption around the war in Ukraine alone. And another 5 about big pharma alone. In my line of work I've witnessed so much corruption in the medical industry. Things that make me sick all the way to the base of my spine.
