So I went on vacation for 2 weeks and decided to take the time off from lifting. Figured I'd come back to the gym feeling pretty good...

First day back at the gym and was taking it sort of easy, using lighter weights than usual... I took a set of hammer curls to failure and my wrist kinda bent down a bit and soon after I notice pain right below my pinky that radiates up my forearm. Lame.

Anyone ever have something like this happen? Any tips on helping improve recovery?

It's been 2 months since this started and I just finally decided to get it checked out today. I had an x-ray done but it didn't find anything wrong apparently. My doctor noted he thought it could be a sprained wrist.

I have a splint on currently and the doctor prescribed me some voltaren gel.

Soft tissue injury of a joint you use constantly takes forever to heal.

Stay away from hammer curls and pop some Naproxen for a week providing you're not on gear.
