What’s up everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. I’ve been a fan of bodybuilding since the jay cutler/Phil heath days. I’m 35 years old 5’11 190 probably around 17% body fat. I was always active and relatively fit in my younger days, played sports in high school. Got fat in my 30s was up to 270 in April of 2023. Started dieting at that point and really learning about body building, how to lose weight how to gain muscle and so on. As I started losing weight I gained a lot of confidence back that I had lost being fat. I realized that hey I can get jacked if I put the work in. Started lifting 3 days a week in Aug 2023 than moved up to 5 days a week about 3 months ago (PPL rest upper, lower, rest, repeat). I’ve truly fallen in love with the lifestyle and hope to continue bodybuilding for life. Still natty

That is some very impressive weight loss there. How are you feeling with that 5 day split?

Pretty good so far. Doing a Deload week right now because I developed some tennis elbow on my right arm trying the grease the groove method to get my pull up numbers up. It’s done wonders for my chest and arms. One thing though is sometimes I go a little too hard on that first leg day and I’m not fully recovered for the 2nd leg day. The hamstrings specifically but I love RDLs so it’s hard to hold back sometimes
