I have been on trt for probably 3 years. 1ml of 200mg per. My test levels are 1100. At first
I noticed difference within 2 weeks. weird shit like being more emotional over something stupid. Also noticed more energy, crazy labido and just overall feeling better. The emotional thing stopped after awhile. Now 3 years later I notice no difference. I even stopped for 6 months and started again hoping to notice some change. been back on it for 3 months.
I have read some of those trt reddits, they are mostly idiots. They would think my 1100 number would be a death sentence. One thing I would highly recommend is get yourself some Microencapsulated DIM, I use the BioResponse nutrients brand. It is important whatever DIM product you get is MICROENCAPSULATED for proper absorption. It will keep your Estrogen in check while on TRT. Has always worked for me. There was one time I purchased some that wasn't microencapsulated and my estrogen levels went up. Hope this helps

Or don't run your TRT as hot if you are susceptible to estrogen issues.

Honestly its been so long that I have followed the same routine, I'm not sure what it would be like if I stopped the DIM. DIM isn't a bad thing literally comes from Broccoli other similar vegies, it not only helps with estrogen balance but also prostate health and acne you may get from TRT. I order mine from amazon. For me at this point if it isn't broke don't fix it. The part for me that is perplexing is after stopping for 6 months and starting again, why am I not seeing the same benefits as I did when I very first started. Not even the sky high sex drive. It has made me want to start running it at even a higher dose but with my numbers what they are I'm afraid to end up giving myself side affects. The reason I stopped for the 6 months was because I wasn't sure I was feeling the benefits from it and wanted to take a break.

At 1100 ng/dl, you have more than enough.

In all honesty, you're not getting anything extra than if you ran less and had a level of 800 ng/dl.

The extra benefits come from when we run supraphysiological doses.

"Feeling" drugs and supplements subside over time. It's normal to not feel things, it doesn't mean it's not working.

Unless you have blood work that states otherwise, don't assume it isn't working and don't increase dosages. Doing more drugs because you don't feel it is addict mentality.

Thanks for the replies!! I suppose it's just my body is used to the levels I have been at for the last few years. Agreed I don't need to be putting myself on some sort of cycle when only doing TRT. I have always done 1 shot a week and been thinking about switching it up and cutting the dose in half to do .5ml twice a week instead. To see if having a more stable hormone level changes anything. It may also be better not having any peaks and valleys not that I really have noticed them much.

It was fine, until you asked a specific question about your blood work.

No worries.

You lost hair because of your genetics, not because of testosterone replacement.

Its effects do NOT subside over time, we just get used to feeling good, so it becomes our new normal.

Nope my father had a full head of hair at 60.

After i stopped TRT i stoppped finding hairs on my pillow or in shower .
I mean mental effects . U dont feel them like in the first year of usage after a few years.
As a side note . Although i got jacked on TRT without doing any sports , after i stopped i lost them but kept most of my strength , for some reason my cardio went insanely good .
Only side effect is loss of libido but i dont care too much . I did this TRT from 32 to 40 years old .
Now i stopped since 3 years . I am doing BJJ and i am one of the strongest guys in the gym for brasilian jiu jitsu . Many told me this so i dont think TRT is very huge for strength gains . My testsoterone level is 400 in a range from 300 to 900.

Well there's quite a lot of people who don't lose their hair on TRT, including myself. So yes, it's your genetics as to whether you lose it or not.
