So Nick will be out the second year in a row. I was wondering what everyone thinks of the explanation his coach gave…

Basically he said Nick needs to be in a negative state of mind and in chaotic circumstances to do well, but now that he is mentally healthy, stable and stress free suddenly his body does not respond to training, diet or PEDS. Does this make any sense whatsoever?

sure negative situations can definitely motivate, and if you feel like something is the only thing you have in your life you’re going to put more effort in, and maybe even do it better because you feel that’s all you have to live for.
But if you put the same effort and focus in something with good mental health, wouldn’t the lack of stress just improve your results?

I really wanted to see him be at his best on the Olympia stage but I really don’t understand..

I will say he feels less relevant than a couple years ago when he was placing top 5 and had the big contract with Hosstile.

But he does have 1.5 million Instagram followers, which is a bit more than Samson Dauda or Derek Lunsford.
