Hey there,

So, I'm a bit older now, but not too old, and I used to do cycles and take gear back in the 80s and 90s. But then I stopped for a while, and now I'm thinking about getting back into it.

The thing is, I have some health issues that come with age, like high bp (126/80) But I take medication for that (basic med Lozarten), so it's under control. Another issue is my joints and how long it takes me to recover from workouts.

But hey, I still go to the gym regularly and I'm in pretty good shape for my age.

I've been reading up on all the new stuff in bodybuilding and I'm thinking about trying a few things.

First, about using testosterone enanthate, 250 milligrams per week. That's for sure.

I'm also using Deca-Durabolin, 20 milligrams per week. But I'm not sure about that yet.

And I'm thinking about using human growth hormone, 5 milligrams. But that's still up in the air.

The idea is to start slow and then increase the doses as my blood work and overall health aallows. Looking to run it long term not just 6 to 8 weeks.

Have you tried any of these things? In an older age, Or do you know anything about them.
I'd love to hear your thoughts Hopefully positive feed back and covnersation.

What are your T levels like now?
250gm should get your T levels higher than they are now. I would split it and inject at least 2x a week. These years my BP goes up more on cycles then it did when i was younger.
I never noticed much from low dose Deca as far as joints feeling better.
Seems like a fairly high amount of HGH.
If you are going to be working out more or heavier that will likely mean more wear and tear on the joints and wearing them out sooner. That is my experience.

Decent starting dose.
I'm also using Deca-Durabolin, 20 milligrams per week. But I'm not sure about that yet.
Pointlessly low dose.

That's 15 iu's. Waaaaaay too much for you, and your wallet. Try 1 mg/3 iu's, build up to that.

6-8 weeks is pointless. You will grow next to no muscle in such a short time span.

Of course we have tried them.

Thank you CJ, I just like you be very informed.
Yes I know 6-8 weeks is pointless which is why I said "long term"

I had a Dr at a university hospital put me on TRT when my levels were about 430. Different Dr have different opinions. 250 mg to start should make a noticeable difference for you.

Don't even talk to me about steroids old man till you can give me six months of regular, consistent, intense workouts in the gym.
Thanks 1biggun11, like I said I do go to the gym regularly and no I don't just sit around and buck the dog either, run on a spot on a tredmill etc...I fully understand the basics just not insane gym time at this point, which I stated above.

Better understanding this time around and more information so I fully understand every aspect.

126 / 80 is not high bp at all actually thats better than most of us.
While not high it is elevated and a trend in that direction is not what i would allow to happen to me. less the 120/80 is recommended. And even at that range it seems long term health is starting to decline form some things i have read. But we all have our own comfort zones.

I'm 54. My blood pressure was always good until I crossed the 250lb mark. Then my Dr put me on a "water pill". Mt my memory is not allowing me to recall the drugs name? Its one of the usual ones? Frustrating!!

I'm running around 500mg of Test a week and 5iu to 6iu of Serostim(gh)/ed. Also 500mg/ed of Metformin and 100mcg/ed of T4.

I'm about halfway through the addition of 150mg every 4 days of Tren Hex. Its always been my favorite ester or Tren. Some would say that at my age it's not a smart thing to do. I've never liked nandrolone. My joints have never been an issue. I listen to my body anc if I felt "off" I'd drop the Tren but so far so good.

At 54yrs of age I'm 6'2" and right around 260lbs I've never been a drinker, smoker, or rec drug user. I'm not against them morally they've just never done anything for me.

That is until I decided to give DMT a go. The deciding factor was the short length of time that its active. There's no hangover or recovery time. Its 10 to 15 minutes of enlightenment and then back to baseline with a calmness and peaceful feeling.

Hey man, glad to see you around. For some reason I feel like I haven't seen you around in a month or more.

Don't be a stranger, you literally have the best bedtime stories for meat heads 🥰😂

Hi Buck. I'm OLD Buck.. lol
I can tell you with confidence. If you can get good Deca, you will definitely feel the benifets. But you just can't do that alone.
It's to expensive and it's mild to really feel any enhancement.
Your BP isn't bad, just watch your HCT and RBC, if it gets high, just donate a pint of blood. High HCG and RBC can get dangerous at our age. When it gets high, You'll notice your face staying red for long periods of time when your not exercising.
Also you'll start developing severe itching like you would get after a serious sun burn.
Donating blood and take a low dose aspirin will go a long way.
But back to the cycle.. if you can run 1 mg of deca and 250 of test you should be good to go
