I tested positive and showed symptoms of COVID on Sunday last week. It is now Monday the following week. I still have pressure build up in my ears/head. I still cough a nasty black film and i tested positive for COVID today. How long did you guys wait until you got back in the gym?

I don't want to be an asshole and spread COVID. But Not lifting weights for 8 days now sucks. I hear you can spread COVID for up to 10 days after the initial symptoms. I hate lifting with a mask. I know I will not be able to lift my best, but I feel the need to try. Thanks.

Follow CDC guidance. You should be good after 10 days. To be cautious, you can always use a km95 mask after 10 days but I doubt you have serious covid since you can workout.

let's wait at least two weeks before working out. It’s not only much-needed rest; it’s also an opportunity to evaluate how you feel being up and about, what kind of activity causes fatigue and at what point you tire
