Anyone get anything cool on Prime Day? I had been wanting a turn table for years, and I saw an Audio Technica at $161 down from like $225 or something. It won't arrive until mid August but that gives me time to buy some actual records.

I also grabbed a portable monitor to go with my laptop for $70. I wish it was a bit brighter but overall I'm very happy with it.

Check the prices today... I checked on some things I bought, and they're the same fucking price now as they were on prime day, maybe like $5 more. Only a handful of things were true markdowns.

Anyway, I didn't get anything exciting. I got a new bullet blender for making shakes, and a new Garmin Epix 2 black titanium watch, which were probably the most 'interesting" thing I bought. Pretty much everything else I got was household type crap.

I've been noticing for a few years that many prime day deals aren't real deals.

My new Garmin watch was a legit deal... It was listed for 899 before prime day and got marked down to 544 during prime day (I got it for 356 after other discounts and credits I had on my account). Today it's back up to 799, and probably in another week or 2 will be back to 899.

My 1100 watt bullet blender that I bought as "prime day deal" for 34.99... today it is still fucking 34.99... so not a genuine deal. With that said I'm still very happy with the blender. It's a night and day difference compared to the bullet blender I was using before.

I'm glad you guys got useful stuff. I got t-shirts and underwear. Guess I gotta laptop too, but that's for college, and it was used, so I don't think primeday helped.

I got Athlio (some chinese knock off brand) mesh gym shorts, 2 pairs for 9.95, got 6 pairs. That to me was a deal but that's about it. I echo @Send0 most of the "deals" aren't deals unless they are amazon brands.

There can be some good deals, but yeah, always worth checking. Sometimes stuff is cheaper on other sites, even on Prime Day. I use Amazon even if it's just a bit more expensive because of the convenience.
