This contest looks insane.

1000lb yoke straight into 360 lb log clean and press x 3????

20,000lb conans wheel

Elephant bar deadlift for 1RM

circus dumbbell medley.

and that’s only day one?….

Martins is looking rock solid and appears to be completely healed up from his injuries. Could be a tight battle at the top between him, Nobokov and Stoltman.

Nice to see kieliszkowski back too.

Fun contest to watch, nice comeback win for Licis. Also Mateusz, (with a torn lat, and skipping 2 of the 5 events), he still came in 4 out of 10 just missing the podium. Next year should be fun with a healthy Licis and Mateusz, Novikov and T. Stoltman. Shaw is starting to look his training-age, though when the right events are scheduled (like at his own contests) he still comes out near the top...

I missed it, was that yesterday?

Also, the most grueling event on there has to be the yoke run into the log press. I’ve never seen anything like that but it sounds terrible lol

Looked like it was a great contest. I didn't know Kieliszkowski was hurt too. I want to see him and Licis against each other when there both 100%.

I watched it earlier, even though I already knew the outcome, the stones were incredible to watch

I'd like to see the elephant bar retired. It's not a spectacle, it's just an excessively whippy bar with limited range of motion to increase the weight. Max weight OHP with an earthquake bar next?

Shaw does need to take responsibility for his injury at this point. He's not letting it fully heal, he's not taking it easy on events that retear it. Spending 3 years with the same injury losing everything when your only goal is to get more titles seems very counterproductive.

It's always good to see Martins have success. Especially with Odd right there with the best view in the place.

He's had 4 surgeries on his Tricep over last couple years, one as recent as April. He recently tore his lat while deadlifting in training for this. Hopefully he can heal up not be one of those "What could have been" stories...
