Has anyone here found peptides to be helpful for sciatic nerve issues? If so, what have you found to work the best for you? Thanks in advance.

Usually sciatica is caused by an impingement some where.

I don’t believe any peptide could help nerve pain

Fuck peptides ,, that being said ...

Ok ,, hmm ,, your sciatic nerve is not one nerve. Its 5 that run from nerve roots along your spine (as a side note you can shut them off individually as I have come to find out , one controls your left leg).

There are two sciatic nerves that travel down through your hip/ass and down the back of your legs. About as wide and thick as a penny.

How do you know its real sciatica and not "sciatica like symptoms" well ,, there is tingling , burning , muscle weakness , you can experience both urinary and fecal incontinence , pins n needles feeling like your foot fell asleep.

It can change how you move , how you walk and how you can get up and down stairs and even slight grades.

Causes can vary from herniated discs and degenerative damage , to spinal stenosis , conus , osteo issues like arthritis and of course ,, basic injury and compression.

See a Dr , don't fuck with peptides when dealing with some thing that can keep you from walking and wearing diapers for the rest of your life.

Just one old man's advice that's been here and done all that.

I agree doc first. Now there are some peptides that claim help with pain and swelling. Ara290, is one but I think it's more for neuropathy pain and swelling.

Very little directly helps sciatica….. Stretching nada
Pain meds shouldn’t be used for chronic pain ( opiates)
Nerve pain is not the same as pain.

Gabapentin and Pregabalin were the only things that helped the burning and tingling I had on my right side from nerve issues.

I just did rehabilitative movements for my sciatica and it’s not a problem anymore.

My disc have ruptured in my back and neck …..I wish I could do that,I have to have my neck done but won’t do it unless meds stop making it tolerable

my disc ruptured in my back, that’s the entire reason I had the sciatica. The pain was very bad but the rehabilitative movements helped a lot to be honest. Some of the flosses made the pain go from debilitating to very bad but at least I could get off my ass. When you are in less pain If you are able to work on it I highly suggest it. A lot of friends asked how I was able to get my back and leg functioning basically normal so quickly because they also had similar issues and I can’t stress enough how much a consistent rehabilitative protocol helps. It was pretty painful especially at the beginning.
For the ruptured disc I also used TB500 and it helped but I don’t think that has helped sciatica very much

I've worked around a herniated disc L4 L5 for 30yrs. The only relief I found was being diligent as far as keeping my core strong, and not reinjuring it. It took some time to figure that out.

I want to keep the original equipment. I don't have any trust in surgery. In college I worked with a number of surgeons, and I never had one recommend low back surgery.

Crunchs. Lot of core exercises.
