New guy here, been lifting for about 2 years. Definitely not a bodybuilder, but pretty steady 5 days a week lifting. I am right handed, and my right side has always been stronger, but the difference is negligible. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed extreme weakness in my left side while bench pressing and working tris. Shoulder press same thing, literally have hardly any strength. No pain whatsoever, other than I can tell something is going on with it.
Any advice? Is this normal? I am trying to work through it but not sure that is the best route. Should I see a doctor? A chiropractor? I have no idea since there is literally no pain, just immediate fatigue and no strength.
Any help would be appreciated!

Could be a dozen things,Pinched nerve,How is your bp?
How often do u check bloods ?
High blood pressure can cause a stroke, weakness.
@Yano can speak to this with more accuracy.
You don’t always feel mini strokes

I've had this twice. Once a lady fell asleep on my arm and I couldn't fully contract the bicep for a few months. Eventually it went away.
Second time I winged my scapula and couldn't press or pull much on that side. Ohp pressing a 15lb dumbbell became my max, healthy side I could put 50-60lb up.
Both times I had to use everything until the strength came back. Winged scapula was realistically almost 1.5 years before I was making progress passed where I was when the injury occurred.

My right side weakness comes from the stroke.

Left side I compressed nerve roots in my spine at L1 and L2 and for lack of fancy talk ,, shut my left leg off for a few weeks. I did not know I could do that.

For the compression issues i hang on an inversion table and got good solid advice and use Mcgills big 3 and Donnie Thompsons back protocol.

I would definitely see a doctor about this. It could be a lot of things as already stated. It's not something that I would wait around on to see if it got better. There is a reason that is happening, especially if it is sudden. I hope it's nothing to do with BP.
