Yes, something just isn't making sense. Have you been to a doctor lately? I can't imagine how 1,600 calories per day and a minimum of 5k steps doesn't result in shedding pounds. How was your metabolism in the past? Thirty is young, and you should still feel that way; young. I'm 60 and with a small adjustment in my caloric intake, I can shed some pounds when needed.

And carrying over 250 lbs of bodyweight, to boot.

The math isn't mathing. 🤔

There's no way you're only eating 1600 Cals and not losing weight, unless you're literally sitting all day long.
Minimum has to be 2500-3000 if your standing as much as you say. Most people miscount calories mainly by drinking extra calories and using dressings on sales and other condiments

Hi. The rest has all been said.

It is intros like this that make me feel blessed to not ever have counted calories but to count meals and still struggle to hold weight. I consume 1litre/ a quart I believe of olive oil a week just to eat enough energy to maintain bw.

It always seem like a curse having to force feed 6 meals a day. Till I read an intro like this where you can't lose weight on just two normal meals. I lose siginificant weight if i miss one meal. Turn back to skin and bones if i cant eat for a week.
