I’d echo everyone else and say you’d be able to build back to that pic with your generous TRT.

Even though I have no past cycle experience, when I went from a little lower test levels than you, also with horrible free T, to 140 mg test per week TRT I made great progress the first year. And still do progress on it few years later.

To put in perspective, my first “cycle” I just started at 300 mg per week. And since around December I added a “trt add on” of pharma nandrolone 80 mg per week. And that again progressed me nicley. To the point of weighing at my highest 230 at 5’9, currently sitting at 220ish and a bit leaner than at 230.

So like everyone else says, just ride out the trt as long as you can. You may find it’s just fine.

I dont know who is who here and im trying to be respectful to everyone. My diet is far from dialed right now. No need to post it honestly. Ill have a protien shake in the AM with a banana and oats, lunch is usually a salad and either meatballs or chicken and dinner is all

Meal prepped, counted protien and carbs and at every 2 hours. It was exhausting but it made a huge difference. Im hoping there is some middle ground between the fully commited bodybuilder and the couch potatoes!

You're on a bodybuilding forum... asking for pics is pretty typical for a hobby/sport that is judged based upon how your body looks. It shows a persons current condition better than they could ever describe with with words. No one should feel annoyed about being asked for a picture on a forum like this.

Asking for a picture was more about understanding your current state... and nothing to do with trying to weed you out.

There is. Normally you land on that spot pretty well by following what I said above. Not super lean, but should get you to 4 pack territory in time.

If it doesn’t quite get you there, just some minor restriction beyond what I said should get you there too.

That’s assuming you don’t put loads of butter, olive oil, etc on everything.

Your background or previous experience doesn't matter.. you had a testosterone level of 300 and have now fixed that with TRT.

Your body doesn't down regulate androgen receptors, anabolics actually upregulates them. So this notion of needing to do more because you previously ran heavy cycles is nonsense. Maybe this is not what you meant, but it's how your post reads

Also, they prescribed me Test C at 200mgs once per week with mew labs at 60 days. If I remember correctly C is a little shorter life in the body than E. Should I maybe split the dose thru the week?
I'd feel good about the 200mg of test.

Some here have mentioned muscle memory. But we're not talking about someone who lifted in his teens and early twenties and took a hiatus and is only in his thirties and wants to get his muscular build back. The OP is in his fifties. Bodies change. It is extremely rare for someone to look nearly the same over the span of three or more decades. Even if they're doing cycles and their training and diet have been on point the whole time. We lose a bit of muscle over the decades and our bodies change.

I know I can only speak anecdotally from my own personal experience. In my case, I'm fifty-two. Back in my glory days I had some pretty big legs and my mid to upper back had quite a bit of density from doing regular deadlifts a lot. This was back in my twenties and thirties. And I was just doing basic bro split bullshit in the gym. But today I look in the mirror and I no longer have that density in my rhomboids/traps/erectors. And I train so much better today thanks to all the incredible information available on sites like this one. Granted, back in my day I was taking 1g of testosterone and either 600mg of equipoise or trenbolone a week. Today, my cycles don't go over 700/900g total of everything. I'm aware that I'm taking less than half of what I used to but for one, I know my body can't take anything more due to being older. And two, I firmly believe the atrophy process we go through as we age makes it simply impossible. Muscle memory is irrelevant after thirty to forty years of lifting.

My advice to the OP is to only do his HRT and to learn as much as he can training and nutrition-wise. After he plateaus, if he still wants size just be sure to scale it down in terms of the amount of drugs he takes compared to when he was younger . And above all, stay on top of your labs and make sure there are no signs of injury to liver/kidney/etc. Watch your blood pressure. Get a blood pressure monitor. Even if you get your bloodwork checked every three months through your doctor's office, if you're on a cycle go to a private lab and get a metabolic panel done every month while on to make sure all is good. It's only $24, give or take.

You should make incredible gains with muscle memory just from starting back with decent testosterone levels.

I'd stay on just trt for a while and enjoy gains until you plateau before adding in anything else.

Why waist a bunch of money on gear while you're getting the easiest gains of your life?

Im 50 years old in August, finally got put on TRT last month. My labs before TRT showed me in the low 300's. Too high for Insurance help and too low to continue to deal with the sides. I reached out to a clinic in Florida and the process was so smooth. I wanted to see if there were any other Anabolics I could add to help me get back to my former glory. I used to cycle test, tren and dbol and LOVED it. Am I too okd for dbol and tren? No BP issues, no cholesterol issues...Im up to date on all things medical...recent Colonoscopy and Endoscopy. All good health wise. Any suggestions? I go to the gym 3-5 days per week.
I've been on TRT for about a year and made huge gains on 200mg a week on Test C. I stayed on that dose for 9 months until I was sure my body was in good enough shape to add anything else. Once it was I added on Winnie and Deca for a while thru my clinic. But I had my clinic bump me up to 400mg a week and in my experience just the extra Test C is enough.
