Type of labs…ultra sensitive or standard assay ?

I have seen the term “sensitive assay” or even “ultra sensitive assay” pop up for the most accurate type of testing for E2 levels.

I just noticed my doctor has not been ordering that type.

Apparently the standard assay has been known to be much more inaccurate
