He's very polarizing but a net positive in my opinion. I'm all for freedom of speech. Even if that comes with lots of "cons"
Ironically he restricts speech, bans people he doesn't like, and has set his algorithm to bury certain kinds of posts. He's very polarizing but a net positive in my opinion. I'm all for freedom of speech. Even if that comes with lots of "cons"

Yeah, free speech.![]()
Really? He started this immediately after he bought Twitter, and it's still a regular occurrence even though he's slowed things down a *little bit*. This, combined with other things (including what I wrote below, and things I didn't bother writing) is why Twitter bled out and lost a massive amount of users. No one cares that he bought Twitter, they cared that he was destroying it and controlling free speech despite claiming to be a free speech absolutist. When did he do any of this?
We're called "intellectual morons" and/or "confident retards", thank you very muchthe dumb guy's smart guy

He also had engineers change the algorithm so that his posts are always make in everyone's feeds, even if you don't follow him. He did this because Bill Gates or some other big name was getting more views than Musk (due to people following those other people), and musk was very upset about that. I'm not making that up either. He was literally upset that he wasn't the most viewed user on Twitter. This information has been reported on and can be found via searching, or ironically going through past Twitter posts where he bitched and cried about it
With that said, I didn't like Twitter before, and I think it's even worse now. No big loss for me personally either way, but it just shows what a needy dbag he is.
This has nothing to do with what I was talking about. My comments had absolutely ZERO to do with the election. You're barking up the wrong tree again.
President-elect Donald Trump announced Tuesday that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead a new “Department of Government Efficiency” in his second administration.
“Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies,” Trump said in a statement.

You see the scam ? its called DODGE ,,, thats Musks crypto coin. Oddly enough Dodgecoin jumped over 20% within hours of it being announced.Elon Musk will head a new government agency under Donald Trump:
Too bad some of that "wasteful spending" is for school breakfasts , hot lunch programs , education , after school programs.I listened to Ramaswamy in a long form interview on the Lex Friedman podcast. I didn't hate his ideas, especially the shrinking of the federal government to get rid of redundancy and wasteful spending.

When they dismantle the Dept of Ed ,, all that goes away.
Seems like idea would be target the "wasteful" part not just spending. We bid for a Meals on Wheels type contract with our local gov. The discrepancy between what they pay per meal and the quality of food that actually gets served is nuts. Pockets are getting padded.Too bad some of that "wasteful spending" is for school breakfasts , hot lunch programs , education , after school programs.

My grandmother helped start Meals on Wheels in New Jersey as well as the Fair Lawn Opportunity Center , a place where folks with special needs can meet , learn skills ,further their education or just enjoy hanging out working on projects and crafts.Seems like idea would be target the "wasteful" part not just spending. Yeah man I follow yaThe Dept of Education was created in 1979. The hot breakfasts and lunches that you state will go away without the DoE, in fact existed before the DoE. It appears almost 100 years prior, in some form.

Again, I'm not saying the DoE should be terminated. I'm merely hopeful that the government can be contracted, and be more efficient.
