I did heroin. Even speedballed once.

Was in love with codeine for a very long time.

Was a really bad pain pill addict up to 80mg x 12 with oxycodone using cold water extraction.

Then the girlfriend who was feeding me the pills for 2 years decided to dump me.

At that point in my life I was ready to kill myself and going through horrible withdrawal symptoms.

Got kratom and got some relief.

Was still really heartbroke...but no longer having withdrawal symptoms.

Although I can see how some might consider it a gateway to addiction, for me it had the opposite effect.

I used it like a tool to fix myself.

Tried drinking, smoking weed, and doing pain pills and all of them made me feel nauseous while using kratom.

Feel better without anything else.

I am not addicted to Kratom, BUT I am dependent on it. For me Kratom has been a godsend for others not so much.

My problem began in the 90's when I started using Nubain, Stadol in my 20's (I'm 52 now) because I read in a Dan Duchaine book that it was an anti-catabolic bodybuilding drug. Was it? I don't know, but strangely felt amazing on it!! Now when supply was low to zero there were times I had to buckle up and withstand 2-3 days of restless leg syndrome, bodyaches and feeling like a had the flu, but after those 2-3 days I would feel fine and not want any, BUT that call would come in "Snachy, you want some Nubain"? And the circle all over again.

Then came Vico's they were giving those out to me like candies, if I had a sprained thumb here 30 Vico's prescribed. Then insurance caught on that I was doctor shopping so I had to go to Mexico and get Oxy's or on the street get Roxy's, but same thing 2-3 days withdrawls when supply was thin and the circle all over again.

Then came Dr prescribed Methadone for chronic pain (shoulder and back) now this one I got out of control and finally said I need help (rehab) and the withdrawls for this one was PURE HELL!!!! These withdrawls lasted for weeks, even with suboxone, seraquil, Benzo, I was in a bad place. I was depressed for a long time, sober, but depressed.

Then one day I remembered about kratom and took it and I felt "Normal" well normal to me and from then on (5 years till now) I use it and I stop sometimes for a few days and there are withdrawls, but nothing close to any of the ones above but they are there.

Like I said for me it's been a godsend, but I can see that others don't fare so well with Kratom.

I remember Nubain well. Its the only drug in its class(mixed agonists antagonists class) not controlled under the Controlled Substances Act. Its a prescription only drug but its not Scheduled. Its why it was so easy to get up until 2008. In 2008 Nubain was discontinued from being marketed in 2008 in the United States for commercial reasons. It remains unscheduled and is marketed in India where we get a lot of meds from. Not trying to give you any ideas, snach!
No euphoria associated with nubain. Its a KOR agonist and it actually produces dysphoria.

My 25 year old daughter has been using kratom for the last year. She's the only 1 of our 4 kids that had/has addiction issues. My ex wife and I don't either which is why we were floored when we were so close to losing her. We tried regular rehabs and detoxes. Tried a faith based program in Thailand. She was locked inside a Buddhist Monastery that doubled as a rehab run by monks and nuns. She broke out of there and wandered the streets of Phuket. until my ex-wife could get over there to gather her up.

I had come to the realization that chances were we were going to lose her. I could sense that death was near. She wasn't the same bright eyed beautiful girl that I woke up every morning for school who couldn't wait to get out and live each day. I didn't recognize the liar who not only looked completely different from the girl I raised but she also spoke in a voice I didn't recognize. I was heart broken and at times blind with rage.
My ex wife came to me after hearing about Ibogaine. It took a month or so until we did things the right way. At first I went to a friend who was a vendor on the Silk Road Markets. He new of a vendor that offered Ibogaine. I sent my friend $1100 without much of a plan.

We lined up a nurse and a cabin at Big Bear where I guess we would administer the Ibogaine while the nurse kept an eye on her vitals?
In what turned out to be a blessing, my cash which had been converted to bitcoin was stolen along with several million dollars of bitcoin. We had to look into another way. Ibogaine is a Schedule 1 here in the states so there aren't any clinics. Mexico and Canada had inpatient Ibogaine clinics. We settled on one in Rosarito, Mx and made it happen. She spent 32 days and was given not only Ibogain, but Ayahuasca and DMT as well.

It was the best $16,000 we ever spent. A bargain, by the way. She returned a completely different person. We live in Southern CA. and she hooked up with a group that meets 1 weekend a monthn at Joshua Tree State Park and they use Ayahuasca as their Sacrament. She's now helps "Guide" people on their Ayahuasca journey and when doing so takes a much smaller dose. She's been active with the group going on 3 years now.

She started using Kratom maybe 6 months ago. She's sure not to take any the 2 days leading up to Ceremony. The kratom for her is nothing like the heroin that nearly snatched the life out of her. She's recently expressed some concern as she's read some stories of women losing their hair while taking kratom for extended periods of time. Her vanity won't allow that to happen. I really don't have too much worry that she'll fall back into something horrible when she drops kratom. I will be available to her if she needs some assistance, though.

Fantastic story and congrats that she is so healthy and sober!

Have you
considered going to an ayahuasca ceremony with her? How are they able to do that publicly?

Would be super
cool to
get a first hand experience of her transformative time in Mexico.

Anyone have kratom experience for pain.

If you mean:

Does anyone have experience with kratom for pain?

Yes. But it is limited.

It's not like you can break an arm or a leg, take some kratom, and then not feel any pain.

For that you would need to go the hospital and get a shot to get rid of the pain.

I have lower back pain. I still feel the pain but it makes it a little easier to deal with.

I’m really careful with my kratom usage, I’m very lucky I don’t have an addictive personality. I will usually take it on Monday and then other Thursday or Friday. I manage a team of 30 people and on coaching days I need that energy that coffee can’t give. I use Happy Hippo at the moment and love the green strains, I prefer capsules over powers and at each pill at 500mg 12-14 capsules is my sweet spot. But I never use more then twice a week.

Of course 12 grams is an extremely high dose, it`s a mistake to start with such a large amount of kraton. You should have started with maximum 1 g. I did so, for example, and felt no discomfort at all. I read about the dosa

Yeah to me kratom and addiction do not belong in the same sentence. Dependent, yes that is a much better way of saying it. If I go cold turkey I will get some tearing and chills but if I taper down to one capsule I don't really get anything. It's so easy anyone could do it. It's very unique to be totally in control and I like that about kratom.

I was a hardcore alcoholic and had really bad addictions to all kinds of stuff. There is no comparison with any of them really in my opinion. Another beneficial side effect is that they do not mix well with other substances. I even tried vicos with kratom and they did not mix well either.
lol what!? Dude Kratom is 100% addictive. And yea, so is coffee who cares why do you even bring that up? You are addicted to kratom....

It's 0% addictive. You're so full of shit that it's not worth dignifying with a response.

If it were even 1% addictive then why has my use gone down drastically instead of up?

Using that logic suboxone and methadone shouldn’t be considered addictive either.
Fuck you’re retarded
Comparing a plant that is about 25x less potent than marijuana to addictive medications used to treat heroin addiction is retarded. You don't need me to prove to this forum how big of an idiot you are. You are doing a great job on your own. Keep up the good work.

Does Kratom affect libido in anyway? I have a bud who uses alot of phenibut (which can get addicting) and whenver he stops taking it he'll use kratom but he always claims that he has no sex drive and occasional trouble staying hard when he uses Kratom

Does not affect libido at all...but I would say that it does have a mild effect on ability to maintain erection. Of course I was in my 40s when I really got serious with kratom. I used it when I was younger too but didn't think much of it because it was so weak and takes 3g to even feel a slight buzz which is like 6 capsules of 500mg each.

I had ED and low testosterone and still got hard/stayed hard fairly good before and after kratom. Once I started TRT I was all good. Then once I started cialis and caber, holy shit!

But aside from all that there are natural ingredients and supps that help with erections. Pretty much anything that helps improve blood flow or lower blood pressure.

Betaine (aka Beets, Beet Root, Beet Root Extract, Betaine Anhydrous) common ingredient in many pre-workouts.

L-Arginine and L-Citrulline, also common ingredients in many pre-workouts. L-Citrulline is a pre-cursor to L-Arginine and preferred by most who understand how they work. There are also foods that contain L-Arginine...meat, nuts, etc.

Vitamin K2 - What happens with that is it helps clear out calcium build up inside the veins which eventually leads to high blood pressure, heart disease/attack, blood clots, and stroke. Heart disease is the number one cause of death here in America. This is how you beat that shit!

Many people who do not eat spinach, kale, etc. ...foods that have vitamin k2 in them naturally end up with calcium building up inside their veins and restricting blood flow. Dairy and sources of vitamin D are also sources of calcium which is why you will see that Vitamin D3 is often sold together with Vitamin K2. I always make sure my multivitamin has K2 but I also eat a lot of fresh spinach too.

There are others too.

Cardio helps improve blood flow, just get that heart pumping sometimes. Do some yardwork or labor even.

I don't know much about Kratom but CandyCrusher has been known around here to give horrible advice. I would check with at least one other person that knows Kratom to make sure you aren't a victim of CandyCrusher's shit advice.

I give exceptional advice it's only a handful of ass clowns on here that hate on me.

But you can fact check anything I say, research yourself, and arrive at exactly the same conclusions.
