“Ford Motor Company has just filed the patent — to install listening devices on all their new vehicles. They want to listen to all your conversations and not just your conversation, they will have one module that will listen to the driver and another one that will be geared to listening toward the passenger. It will be able to determine whether you're in a serious conversation and when's the appropriate time to interrupt you with an ad.”

Looks like war to me. War in Europe, Middle East and soon in East Asia.

Iran's response is a big escalation. But don't forget a similar barrage was fired in April and ultimately led to nothing.

Sorry brother but I have a hard time believing this. What's your source? I think things are screwed up, but it can't possibly be this bad.

If someone wants to spy on me by bugging my new car, I hate to spoil the surprise, but I'm driving that car up someone ass

Its like they know what the Iron Dome can handle you ever notice that ,, they will send just enough missles or rockets to make a statement but it's always just shy of what it takes to over whelm the system or they aim in places that Israel doesn't care if it gets hit due to there being no one living there or no strategic importance.

Like they know its a temper tantrum.

Yeah, that's where it seems like both sides want to act tough but not actually fight each other. We know Iran has the capability to overwhelm the Iron Dome, but is choosing not to. We also know Israel has the capability to be much more aggressive in southern Lebanon, but is instead going with a very spotty and limited approach so far.

We are definitely closer to the big war right now than any time in the past year though.

What do you think happens next?

I'm glad they are being honest about it.

Onstar has been listening to me the whole time. Otherwise my voice commands wouldn't work.

imagine buying a car and if you don't subscribe to a feature (remote start) you can have it free by opting in to the in dash ads

my guess

Israel makes its border incursions cleans out a few "trouble areas" and withdraws in a few weeks. They pushed this far and stuck their chest out if they don't at least push across they will look weak.

Its up to Lebanon and Iran too at that point and how far they push back and with what , I don't see it turning into a full blown war unless Israel gets beaten back out of Lebanon and they keep pushing them after that.

If they push into Israel and keep the aggression going as some kind of pay back for Gaza , shit will get ugly fucking fast , Bibi is enough of a madman to drop a nuke on his own country in my opinion.

Thanks I'll check these out later. I don't plan on buying a Ford though. I have been driving Toyotas for 30yrs. My running around truck is a 97 Toyota Tacoma 300,000 miles, and it runs as good as the day I bought it.

It proved to be another eventful night and morning for the war in the Middle East. It's possible the new leader of Hezbollah may already be dead:

The Israeli military struck Beirut overnight and into this morning after the Israeli military issued new evacuation orders for several neighborhoods in the area.

An Israeli strike also hit a mosque near the al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the town of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, killing at least 18 people.

The strikes on both fronts come as Hamas' deadly raid in southern Israel and the war in Gaza approaches the 1-year mark.

The potential successor to slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has been out of contact since Friday, news agencies have cited Lebanese security sources as saying, after an Israeli airstrike reported to have targeted him.

Israel carried out a large strike on Beirut's southern suburbs late on Thursday that reportedly targeted Hashem Safieddine in an underground bunker.

Life in a 2 billion year old African rock ... just amazing.

The ones that have made their appearance and vanished since then and are still around are a small fraction of 1%.

I'm not just saying this, but when I watch the news, I wonder if that is where we are going.

I think the time has come and gone when we could have put a lid on things .

I don't think we will have to wait that long. All it takes is the right guy in the right position saying I'm taking the rest of you with me.

The Cuban missle crisis looks like a nice day at the beach compared to what we are seeing today.
