Do you guys think the ceasefire will work?

For some reason, it's nothing more than a footnote on every channel that Netanyahu still has to officially agree to the terms of the ceasefire tomorrow.

I think the world is demanding the slaughter end. The mass bombing of children and women huddled hungry and cold in tents is over

Even in the West where's theres no love for Muslims, the indiscriminate murder of children and the glee with which they did it has shone a light on the reality of "Israelis" and their mentality

Israel is certain to use some type of excuses to provoke further violence or delay any sort of lasting peace as much as possible. They have committed horrendous crimes and the longer they have to clean and cover up, the better for them. And excuses to kill and terrorize in the meantime is just a bonus

The world must dismantle Israel and zionism to ensure they can never do it again to another people

If you think for one second Israel wouldn't do the same to any number of European countries, if they could getaway with it, you'd better think again

Gaza physically lost this war, but politically Israel will never recover and goodwill Israel used to have in the past ceasefire skirmishes and various illegal settlement clashes will be gone for at least an entire generation

They can put the mask back on, and they will, and will go back to playing the victim but people cannot unsee what they've seen and been horrified by the sight of

The cruelty and callous inhumane brutality Israel shown a captive population of defenseless women and children will not be easily forgotten or ever forgiven

They shown thier true colors to the world and the relationship to the rest of the world is changed forever

Probably not. There are people in the hamas command structure who benefit from the poor state of things, and so they will likely continue to prod the Israeli's just as they always have, to the detriment of the broader population.

Technically the ceasefire does not begin until this weekend, and the past 12 hours or so have actually seen a spike in the bombing.

A rocket has also been launched into southern Israel but I'm not sure who fired it.

Do you really think our government will have this approach?

It sounds to me like Trump wants the war to end, but he also will make concessions to Israel that Biden would not have made. We already saw this in his first presidency when he did things like turn a blind eye to illegal settlements and recognized Israel's claims to the Golan Heights.

It appears that Trump's ultimate goal will be Israeli-Saudi normalization.

I agree with this, although plenty of Americans will continue to support Israel no matter what.

So do you think Hamas will continue to govern Gaza? If so, does that mean Netanyahu failed at his objectives?

I'm not sure what's left of the hamas command structure, since Israel murdered the entire extended families of anybody and everybody they even thought had anything to do with hamas

But after such a ruthles and brutal campaign of terror, I doubt they'll have any recruitment problems

Let's not forget that the chaos of hamas and it's presence in general is by Israeli design

Israel has never honored a ceasefire without taking something extra

That's not by chance, but the result of decades of expensive and complex propaganda

Most people don't ask questions or really analyze things like you do and ponder the truth when the narrative doesn't make sense

I think it's important to provide some context and reality here for the brothers reading this:

Hamas isn't a formal military or government and gaza is not an independent state with the capability to protect its citizens and territory

Hamas is an inmate prison gang running the yard of the penitentiary Isreal created and controls to warehouse the Palestinians it robbed to create room for rich European jews and gaza is an open air prison designed to contain and oppress the Palestinian people while they rot and dissappear from memory

Just a reality check because if zionism wins this, then ultimately and eventually we will all become Palestinians. Fighting for the right to survive as independent people because we're inconvenient to the ruling class on property they could exploit and profit from if only you aren't on it

That is the reason the Washington establishment London ogliarchy and tel Aviv lobbyists, bankers and media moguls are all in on Isreal

Think about that while we hold on to what little we have while taxes increase and private land ownership is eroded systematically by the wealthy Elite and political establishments and our liberty is comprised at every turn

Food for thought for my alpha male brothers here and a reminder of what our American forefathers fought a revolutionary war to prevent

God bless y'all and don't forget

Good point. Even if Israel has not "destroyed" Hamas they have at least mortally wounded them.

This is an element that is lost on a lot of people. Which is ironic, since Netanyahu has been open about it.

Israel already claiming they don't want a ceasefire

The next 24 hours are going to be very interesting.

Media outlets on all sides really jumped the gun on this one.

What do you think will happen next?

Does it matter?

Come to think of it, no.

Israel is already at war with any possible party.

Thank you, I appreciate that. 👍

I think this is one of the true benefits of social media and modern technology. People are seeing real footage, and having to ask themselves why these things are happening. Figures like Anthony Blinken have to answer to more intense questioning than politicians of the past.

20 years ago, someone would have to go out of their way to even know what the other side of this conversation was.
