the 2100 calories was suggested for weight loss and was done from a calorie calculator. I’m sorry for not putting that. I think my maintenance calories are about 2500.
So maybe if I go up to 2050 calories I can make the extra 100 calories (previous 1950)...

I was wondering how tired you “should” feel when your in a calorie deficit. I’ve been trying to lose a little body fat..... again. So I looked up my macros and calories. For my activity level and workout regime the calories came out to 2100. I’ve been around 1950 everyday.

I thought I would do an update post. So far I've been doing about 2500 calories a day.
Here is what yesterday looked like:
Meal 1:
5.3oz chicken breast cooked in avocado oil (0 calorie spray)
1 cup of cilantro lime rice
1 cup of re-fried beans

Thanks for the reply guys. Sorry I made it sound like I was going to jump right into this training setup. I am going to ease into it. This week I am just doing weights in the gym and am keeping everything light. After that I will slowly add BJJ back in, and start to slowly increase the weights...

I like this idea. That’s kind of what I was wanting to do instead of counting everything. I think if I cut out sweets (large % of my diet a lot of the time), i should lose some weight.

Hey everyone. I am going to physical therapy right now to get my back and hips aligned correctly. So far it’s working great. But I’m not allowed to do any training while going. So I’d like to lose a little weight while I have some off time.
