Should I be going for high weight/low reps or high reps/low weight for those specific workouts? Since I was in track all four years of highschool my squat/deadlift has always been pretty solid, bench not so much.
Thanks for the reply, and yes. All I've heard from tons of people is "stay away from fast food, eat chicken/rice/broccoli." Which to someone that's new like myself, I believed cause all you here is that fast food isn't good for you. I've never really heard what you're saying from anyone else but...
It should be mentioned that I was 6'1, 145-150 and I ran track. So yes, I was extremely lean for my height, but anytime I tried to eat or lift, the track workouts would immediately destroy any gains I tried to make. So the initial 20 lbs I put on was really just a natural weight for me that I...

My buddy who convinced me to start lifting gave me these routines/workouts to go through, but I've learned that doing the same workouts week in and week out start to A) get boring and B) produce less gains. I...
Hey all, I'm Mikey-

My goal is 195.
I gained substantial weight through about 12-16 weeks. 20 lbs to be exact. I've hit a plateau over the past couple months. When I started one of my friends who has been lifting for awhile told me to use BPI creatine/preworkout and...
I appreciate the time and effort he put into the post. For me personally, I live in a small college town where most of the people at the gym are girls trying to lose weight desperately or the cross country team that does cardio and abs for two hours. It's difficult to develop those personal...
This can be difficult to do when you're in a small town with people that aren't using gear. That's why people like him (& myself included) turn to online because it's one of the only options.
That's another problem I've run into. When I was home for Christmas break, I was easily eating 3000-4000 calories per day because there was a lot of food available, along with the utensils and appliances needed. While I'm at college, it's harder to come by the food, appliances and utilities. I...
I was trying to match my weight in protein. For example since I weighed 140 at the start, I would try my best to reach 140g in protein. Calorie wise, I tried to eat at least 3000 a day, but like others have said, it was terrible. I love food but eating that much made me hate it. I’ve heard...
Haha, good one.
It's mainly the annoying fact that my metabolism is ridiculously fast, so if I'm not eating every second every day, I lose weight. I was also curious if anyone had a meal plan/dieting tips and different workouts to do with those that have proved effective.
Hey all,
My name is Mikey and I'm an 18 y/o college student. I'm 6'1 and my weight fluctuates between 165-171 constantly. I started working out consistently in June 2018 and my starting weight was 145. I put on 20 lbs since then and although I feel bigger it doesn't look like a huge difference...
