Saw this advertised on TV. Wondered about it's accuracy and benefits.

Hard to tell, same goes for home blood pressure monitors. I’d they are not calibrated every so often you get faulty readings.

Unless you had an actual medical concern regarding your cardiac function and rhythm this thing in my opinion is just a device to cause unneeded stress

Agree with Elivo. The only thing this will tell you is if you are have an arrhythmia or not. Im guessing it monitors in lead II, and that's all it's good for. You need multiple leads, preferentially a 12 lead, as well as baseline EKG readings to determine any kind of myocardial ischemia. If you do have issues with
a-fib, any monitoring you have done concerning your a-fib will far surpass this. Bottom line,gimmick and waste of money.
