Hey I'm Cheethers.

I'm approaching 34 and 6 years of taking powerlifting seriously has started to take its toll.

I competed a few times with very very modest results but come summer I'd fallen out of love with it and injuries were stacking up.

It's then I took up bodybuilding and it's taken ahold of me big time, so much so that I aim to compete in 11 months if my coach thinks I'm ready!

Diet has always been my downfall and I thought as a powerlifer it was an excuse to eat rubbish! I type this at 209lb (178cm) looking a mess! Bodyfat is stupidly high as are blood sugar levels from too much sugar. My own stupid fault.....

Anyway, that's in the past and I've a plan in place to rectify the damage I've caused. I'm going to do my first real 'cut' and strip it all back to see what's going on! From there I can have a proper off-season and address issues and hopefully see where I am to prep come summer.

I'll start a log too so people can follow. Be warned though, I'm far from a pretty sight at the moment and need a LOT of work.

Sounds interesting. I am in a similar situation. All washed up from injuries.
