Hello Everyone,
I just moved to North Dakota and its pretty dam cold up here. My question is would cold weather hinder muscle growth?

No. Wear appropriate clothing and make sure you are properly warmed up.

If you freeze to death, it will be hard to grow muscle

This, wear enough clothing so that you are taking some off as you warm up.

Start off like an Eskimo lol!

Copy that everyone, I appreciate the information.
I just wasn't sure if the cold temperatures would make my body go into a survival state and just burn more calories and eat muscle.

Well I work 16 hours a day and 6 to 7 days a week. I workout mostly at work and not alot of inside at my job lol

I work outdoors a fair bit of the time.

Like the Bros said, nothing better to fire-up an appetite than hard labor in the cold.

Also like the Bros said, ye need layers and ye need to be cognizant of when ta' remove 'em so ye can avoid sweating as long as possible.

Sweat + single digit temps = hypothermia.

TL;DR - nah, ye won't lose yer gainz being outdoors. Eat big and dress appropriately.
