For a long time my BP has been around 170/90, give or take...sometimes slightly lower sometimes as high as 200/100, even on bp meds.

I've know about Hawthorn berries supplement for a long time but decided to try them again, someone here mentioned that in another thread.

For the past 3 days ive been taking hawthorn berry along with beet root capsules. Today I donated a double red cell and beforehand they took my bp and I was 130/70.
Holy fukking eureka.....

Ill post again in a couple days to update if it stays around there.

I’m thinking about trying Hawthorne berry and beet juice. Mine has been hovering in the 140s over 90s recently and because I have a syndrome that affects the heart I’ve gotta get my bp down a bit.

I think celery seed capsules help too, maybe garlic caps too? Ive been taking 1 hawthrone cap every day thats 565mg ... Is that too low? My bp is like 110 over 60 or 70 usually but watching it on cycle.

Im pretty sure that anything natural that could really significantly lower blood pressure would be a danger do anyone who wasnt hypertensive.

a glass of beet juice buys me four points. Ive tracked it carefully. Thats great and all. But four points aint shit for somebody like me.

Telmisartan. Look into it. A lot of blood pressure meds are strictly ACE inhibitors. That’s fine. They work.

Telmisartan is a bit different. It’s an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). Angiotensin II is apparently a bad hombre. So not allowing that to signal has more benefits than just blood pressure.

But wait, there’s more! Telmisartan is a PPAR agonist (same as Cardarine but it didn’t fail the rat cancer studies). PPAR agonists have even more cardiovascular benefits.

In short Telmisartan is like the miracle drug for juiceheads. Everyone should take it even if it’s not just to control blood pressure. 40 mgs is half a tab (usually) and one tab is 80 mgs. Start at 40 mgs and go up only if you need to.

Absent Telmisartan, go with low dose 5-10 mg cialis. Cialis was first researched as blood pressure medication until subjects started noticing an interesting side-effect. Then they dropped it for blood pressure and marketed it as boner pills.

Honestly thanks for this. I have spent a ton of time reading up on training and performance enhancing drugs but really neglected BP meds etc as I have always been "good" .

Down the rabbit hole I go.
