Well I'm gonna compete again in middleweight which is max 176 lbs so I have 4 months to drop 26 lbs. It's either that or compete in light heavy at 198 and just shred what I got now and lose maybe 2 lbs. Haven't done this in years so a bit back on forth on category choice.

Just start off hard, see what happens. It's not an unrealistic amount of weight to drop, especially for someone who has done it before.

Best of luck!!!

Probably should be determined by your current composition.

Just get in shape and see where you land. Picking a number doesn't mean it is the right one. I dropped over 60 pounds in 5 months for my first show, yes i was a fat bastard. But over dieted and over trained to hit my target number to make the middle weights. The next year i didn't over diet and over train as much and was in the light heavies.
