Well....it's gonna be a long night either way.

BUT....you don't have to roll your window all the way down if you don't want to....just crack that shit.....

Don't admit to drinking...even if it's "only been a couple".

You don't HAVE to step out of the car when they ask.

You don't HAVE to take a sobriety test at all!!

You don't HAVE to blow in the breathalyzer on the street!!! You should however, NOT decline the one at the station...blood or pbt, but even still, you do not have to..but they will get a warrant to get it anyway, and if you decline at the station, instant license suspension

Of course ..they will be upset with you for standing up for your rights....you just have to play it by ear on your situation.

And this is MY OPINION, so do not take everything I said to heart. These are the laws in my state and could be different in other areas.

And I do not condone drinking and driving, nor defying authority

I would say no to the line and any other field sobriety tests. They are designed to make you FAIL. Ask if you are under arrest. Ask if you are free to go. and if placed in custody ask for a lawyer. The entire evening is going to be tied up. You will be brought to the station and they will administer a blood test. Let them know you want a lawyer present and due process and want to know what their probable cause is for testing you. Be polite.

That being said- none of us should even be drinking on aas IMO. BUT, if you do drink and most of you do- DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE DAMNIT. Otherwise, if you are pulled over you ARE going to be arrested and it will be very expensive to attempt to beat it and even more costly if you don't.

What Popeye said... Can't tell you how many times I got out of deeeeeeep shit but just denying all. Most of the time I am very compliant with virtually all requests but If you give them a thread they will unravel your whole fucking sweater so you can be nice but just don't give them shit. I also know a few people in law enforcement and have used them as "my uncle" before to get out of crap... Which is actually something they told me to do. Sometimes it works and sometimes they just don't care.
