Any of you guys have any superstitious beliefs

Like where you're thinking so this happened so I cant lift today

Or whatever, doesn't gotta be about lifting

For example, Im not even religious, never go to church, been to one probably 4 to five times to date

But at anyrate, I try not to beat off on Sundays or Christmas

Just one of many weird little deals ....

My wife carries different rocks/gems in her pocket. Amethyst and others for some non scientific claims.
For hiccups she gets mouthful of water and spins around 6 times within x amount of time

Oh yeah, I have some too. I try to avoid numbers 13, 18, 21 at all costs. Those are cursed numbers for me. But yeah it's not always possible for me to get away from them, cuz life you know. It's weird but I hate those numbers and I associate all bad things that happened to me to these numbers. I trying to embrace them, but still automatically I avoid them whenever possible.

Wife gets "feelings" of a presence like she feels her mom or my dad or mom. All who have since passed. Or she'll feel like a pending bad thing is gonna happen.
After being married for so long, I don't judge. I'll occasionally ask if she feels anything happening soon. Makes her feel good that I'm looking to her for advice. But in reality not a believer in that sort of stuff.

My wife is superstitious. Thinks if I don’t take my shoes off before coming in the house the floor will get dirty. Me, I’m a little superstitious, always must use more than one square of toilet paper because one is the loneliest number.

Had a tenant evicted after they didn't pay rent for 18 months during covid.

They left the house absolutely destroyed. But....they left a bunch of mirrors facing each other--4 to every possible room on each opposing wall. At the intersection of all 4 mirror's reflections, the carpet was ripped up and a pentagram was drawn.

Ouija boards everywhere. Tarot cards. Books on numerology. Etc.

The cleanup crew refused to go in. One guy had the audacity to tell me to burn the house.

SO.....I ended up cleaning that shit up myself and replacing the entire crew.

But, I guess all the seance shit worked...because after about an hour working in that dump, I felt like I was in hell.

Actually I do have one superstition thing. I'm sorry I'm going to be vague though. There is one topic that we do not bring up in this household because if we talk about it they will come like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Or maybe that's all our smart devices listening to everything we do and that's why they come either way it is a taboo topic.
