Anyone know of any cool gyms in Southern California?
I think the most "hardcore" gym I've been to out here is Metroflex Long Beach. I've been to a couple other Metroflex's since they started opening more, but they're not the same... still pretty cool but they didn't have that same "hardcore" vibe

HARD CORE GYM O'FALLON, IL (916 Talon Dr)

Gym Name=Fitness Zone

Small-Medium sized gym, def catered towards power/bb'ers. I think dumbbells go up to 180# or so.
Several squat racks. 3 different types of leg presses. Several cardio equip, and tons of other equipment types.

It is a 24hr gym-so members have a card to scan in to unlock.
They do day passes as well.

You from that side of the river? I know a couple guys who train (or did) at American Family Fitness over in Edwardsville.

That's by Orlando, a total hell hole. Might be a great gym but that area is the worst.

Yeah I was at Disney for a work conference, not by choice.

Metro Detroit:
Powerhouse Highland Park- The OG Powerhouse gym.
Royal Oak Gym- all plates are off weight, due to layers if dust, rust, chalk, and blood. Hasn't been updated since 1987. Don't plan to shower there, you might get tetanus or gonorrhea. Pretty hard core though.
Kroc's Gym, Novi. Janae (Matt) Krocs house of pain.

I found Flex Fitness in Kansas City. Pretty cool place. Nice mix of new and old school equipment.

There’s a new Sho Offz branch on the west side in EP, TX that’s been opened for a couple years now that has good hardcore equipment. I like their leg equipment.

Mutant on a Mission; I used to watch this show before a lot of the BB/powerlifting channels came on, like back in 2014 or so

Recruit Strength is in Melbourne (get a tetanus shot) and Healthy Evolutions Fitness is in Titsuville. Theres Beach Bodies in Sat. Beach thats pretty good as well. I cant speak to cape coral.

Central Florida - Perfect Storm Hardcore Training Facility in Daytona Beach, Fl. home of Dan Bell and Daniel Tinajero amongst others. It is the finest powerlifting gym (especially for multiply) Ive come across.
