Hi everyone!

My name's Anne, I'm a French expatriate in Cambodia and at 26 years old, I'm just starting to finally take care of my body (mieux vaut tard que jamais.)

I recently started training, a few months after I met my partner. He is American and used to train fighters for the UFC, so he knows much more about our body chemistry than me, but still, here I am because we need advice.
I am totally out of shape (I do not look like I am, 1.71m for 61kg) but my flat feet have been creating issues in my entire body for years now, and my training started REALLY low cause well, not many muscles developed.

We also believe that I have a testosterone deficiency, and hormonal unbalance... so I am looking forward to exploring this forum and getting as many advice as I can to get in the best shape I possibly can!

Thanks for reading ;)

hmmmmmmm, why doesn't this shock me...if it's true that is...;) I don't think you need any test and it shouldn't be the first thing your dude thinks you need at the age of 26....get blood tests done if that's a real concern. In the mean time, get your diet and training in order.

Also, welcome :)

Hi everyone!

Thanks for your messages ;)
Jennerrator50, I had a blood test done in september, and my test levels are of 16.02ng/dL, and my TSH is only 0.45 ulU/ml. According to the doc who ran the tests, I'm fine cause I'm still in the range, you know, but some levels are quite low even if they are still between the norm.

My question here is what a 26-year-old women's levels of test should be when she is training every day?

Btw, sorry for the delay, internet issues (thanks Cambodians ^^)!

Have a nice Sunday :)

There isn't a set number for what it should be. We are all different. And that's why there is a range from low to high. You really don't want to just start taking testosterone. It has some irreversible side effects.

You need to be patient and consistent. It takes time to lose fat and get into better shape.

Well thank you for coming back and answering the question. My Dr. a GP and hormone DR. told me the range for women was 7-41 and when we tested me I was @ 5......so he was fine giving me a script BUT I was in my late 40's...now, that's not to say that "younger" people don't end up with lower test levels than expected/fit within the ranges for whatever reasons but yours does not seem low enough to need it for all the "great" sides it does give.

It seems you are wanting to take it for "training", is this correct?

Hi!

Thanks again for your reactions and advice.
After a full cleansing of 3months green smoothie diet, I'm back on Paleo and MMA training (BJJ and Khun Khmer so far) coupled with strength conditioning training sessions at home.

Going back on animal proteins definitely helped increase my recovery time, after only two months I'm able to workout (granted, not four hours per day either) 5 to 6 days a week, against 1 or 2 before cause DOMS would last for days.

I know that'll require time, and I'll probably start feeling other positive effects over time, but has any woman been able to increase her sex drive thanks to building muscle? Are there any enhancers that you would recommend, ladies? My libido is real low and I'm sick of it.

Have a lovely day!

Welcome aboard! Hormone imbalances can also be caused by nutrient deficiencies. We live in a world where everything has sugar added, which can suck out the vital nutrients we need as well. I’d expedite all
those options before looking into replacement. Should always be a last resort imo.
