Fuuk that, "Just don't take steroids to grow muscles or impress a girl. Take them to win a competition" bullshit. You don't need steroids to win a competition. You don't need them to grow muscles and theses days, you sure as shit don't need them to get a girl.
These Pros act like they are the only ones who have a right to gear. 90% of the people who use gear will never see a platform or a stage. I like this guy but don't tell people what to do with their bodies. I got a pro tip for him, avoid repelling and 2 man bicep curls.
.....So I think he is at least acknowledging that practice as being stupid, which guys like him (‘influencers’ with millions of followers) should be talking about more often. His average demographic is teenage to early adult males, so I can appreciate that he’s addressing the fact that you shouldn’t just hop on gear without a purpose, after having put time in the game.
Good for him. All these fake natties are filling kids’ heads with delusional aspirations that they can look like them without enhancement.
I am not so sure about that buddy. A little research; born in 1990 and his pro-debut was in 2015 at 25 years old. He came into the lights 4 years earlier and it's safe to assume he was on gear then at 21 y.o. Tracking a normal pace to stage could easily have him on gear in his late teens. Maybe he is indirectly saying to not make the mistakes he made and if so, that's admirable.
Both of us are making some assumption and I'm sure we are both on point. Still, I don't like when Pros go off about doing gear only to compete and that comes from a guy who did compete with and without gear.
Good points, and I have had one good buddy ask why take gear if you're not going to compete. My response was ok, I guess women who are not models, actresses or pornstars shouldn't get breast implants either then eh?
And to Hurt's point, you say in your post his marketing demographic is teenage men. Well, it seems to me that he has somewhat of a conflict of interest then. Most teenage guys I know could hide their own easter eggs. Forget about differentiating/distinguishing the whole take my sponsors product to look this way/AAS bullshit. Not saying if you're juiced up you can't or shouldn't provide training and diet education and entertainment to that crowd. I just think you need to walk a fine line.
Except that man bun of his. lol wtf that shit
