With tomorrow being the 11 year anniversary of the attacks on 9/11 2001 i think we should all take a second to remember the poor innocent people who lost lives. I am proud to be an american and i will never forget that horrific day.

RIP those we lost

I was actually on my way to the airport at 7.30am my time. I had no clue what had happened because I don't watch the news before work, as we approached the airport they were turning us all away..still no clue what was going on until I was heading back home I turned on the radio and actually thought it was a joke but after turning the radio station a few times and hearing the same thing, I knew it was true. I got home turned on the T.V. and just couldn't believe what I was seeing. I still get goose bumps and my eyes water every time I think of that day, I can't believe it's been 11 years.

It would nice if the media would remove its ban of videos that show the planes crashing into the buildings because it’s too inflammatory. I don't need anyone telling me how to feel, and when I do see it reminds me that the act of war was taken against the United States on that day.

You are right. We will never forget. We survived as a country, though, and we put a bullet through the mastermind's head.

Yup we did, we got that guy but u cant kill an idealogy that followed him, too bad we did not follow oliver norths warrnings back in the trials way back when!!

Its those things our congress and governemt need to take heed to and do something about before it ever gets to the point it did!

Im no conspiracy theorist, but i still believe a lot more people where involved!

RIP all of those who lost their lives on the terrorist attacks, and the afterwards pointless war that followed. Been there several times and i can tell you is pointless. The only ones that got somehing out of it was the god damn contractors that gotten richer and richer off from the war. In my opinion we should make a glass parking lot of the whole middle east and put wal marts and home depots on them.

Damn man that sucks, wish their pilot instructors could have caught on to their "we dont need to know how to land" bs they were supposebly spouting during training!

It was and will forever be one of the worse days in american history!

I work for a company who is a subcontractor to a major utility here in New York. We are also all hazmat first responders. We went in that evening, and stayed for three months. I can tell you the scene was absolute chaos!! Everyone panicking, grown men crying at the utter devastation that was in front of us. We entered into the area that would eventually be called "the pit" . Trying to listen for signs of life, that would rarely be heard. More often what were found we're parts. Which then had to be wrapped and brought to a tent that was designated for " human remains" another tent was erected for "aircraft debris". I thank God, that it's been 11 years and I have no signs of respiratory problems. It's a time in my life, that for some reason I revisit often, and every time it triggers a memory of the smell of fire and ash that will always be seared into my memory!
