Same here bro. I'm so fucking angry I headed right for the Interwebs to rant and be mad. I also am seriously looking at the viability of leaving.
Most likely there were more murders by way of hammer or knife. As of the latest data that I could find, there were 130 shooting deaths in all of Canada in a year.
130, out of a population of almost 40 million…
HuGe IsSuE!
YeppersAnd the black market will open in Canada. More guns. Just illegal and with no paperwork.
These politicians are all morons.
And as horrid as that incident was, it's not such a huge problem in the US either. Nineteen kids killed all at once gets people's attention. But children being killed by guns is very rare, if we're really talking about children. More children are killed in any single of these categories than by guns: Car accidents, fire, on bicycles, drowning in a swimming pools, by running in front of a car and so on. No one advocates banning swimming pools "if it would save just one life" because "no one needs a swimming pool." Ditto bikes. They’re pretending to solve a problem that we don’t have.
Hey you's Canucks remember when the farmers in the Netherlands got shot at for protesting their farms being targeted by the Green Mafia?
Hope you's didn't give up your guns. You're next.
They just banned fertilizer sighting risk of use to make explosives
If the government weren’t constantly governing against the will of the people, they wouldn’t have to worry about people using improvised explosives against them. They just banned fertilizer sighting risk of use to make explosives
Yup, more innocent kids are hit by gang-crossfire and die in Chicago, but of course they ignore that stuff. And as horrid as that incident was, it's not such a huge problem in the US either. When the discussion moves to teenagers, there are more killed by guns. Because they are shooting each other in cities like Chicago. This is a problem, but it's already illegal for teenagers to be carrying guns and shooting each other. That has not stopped it.

But instead, they continue to serve their corporate masters and introduce measures that will further drive the cost of food up.
The system isn’t broken — it’s working exactly as intended.
