Rotator cuff surgery in April. What compound can i take after to prevent atrophy?

My arm will be in a sling 6 weeks before i can begin PT. If possible, I'd like to avoid have the deltoids of a female chessplayer at the end of 6 weeks.

Not sure of a compound to take. I can only say do not take your pt for granted. Go at it like your in the gym. Take it seriously and u will make it back. My buddy had this happen and ended up with a frozen shoulder and 2 more surgeries to only get back to about 80%. Good luck on your journey!

I had the same surgery years ago, it hurts like a bitch. You can expect some atrophy, how much is a shot in the dark. I know of nothing that will prevent this, pt is the most important thing you will ever do for it. I stress to people on this board or anywhere for that matter just how important pt is. The muscle loss will come back before you know it.
