Little pond I found on new place...just filled in after last rain...appears it was dug recently...I’m gonna stock it with sunfish and crappie I believe..should make for some fun for the family!

Keep the damn sunfish and bluegill out. They will over take everything

Crappie likely wont get along with anything in a pond that size. Id say a few bluegill and bass or just make it a catfish pond. Put a feeder on it and have fillets all year

Yea thinking just bass and bluegill...bass will keep them from getting out of control and they taste amazing!

Are there fish in it already? If so, it's probably way out of balance. Rotenone will fix that. :)

Mad far as I know there are no fish at all in it...I don’t think it’s a year old even...there are some bullfrogs that hang out

Id bet it goes dry from time to time. That's a duck killing pothole right there man.

First time I’ve seen it full...hopefully it stays...wouldn’t mind a few ducks either tho

Thanks much. The arrows are actually carbon but they have a wood looking finish. I havent taken that leap yet. Ive killed two bears in the NE Ga mtns the last few years with that bow, on the ground. It's probably my favorite type of hunting.

I went to trad from a compound about 7 or 8 years ago and after a few years, I slowly quit picking up guns except for small game and turkeys. I pretty well never touch a rifle these days. By comparison it feels like cheating. I see a whole lot of stuff that I cant shoot at but Im fine with that. The experience is unreal when it all works out.

I was hunting a buck similar to that a couple years ago. He was killed last season.

Educate me on this. He has a huge rack but a short nose and hams don't look that big. Neck looks like he's in the rut but it was in Dec? Could he be a young deer with some great genetics?

Short, thick face is typically a sign of older buck. 6 plus.
