Hello everyone,
I have undergone several cutting phases during my 6 years of bodybuilding, each time as a natural athlete (photo attached of the most recent one as a natural)
Today, I'm facing a problem. I started my very first cycle of Test E at 375mg per week, with no other molecule, which has been ongoing for 9 weeks now. I didn't start cutting at the same time but only 4 weeks after starting the cycle. Since then, my muscle mass has drastically increased, and I now weigh 227 lbs (I'm 6'2") for the first time in my life, which represents an increase of 24 lbs compared to my usual starting weight when beginning a cut.
Here's where I'm confused: I've been in a caloric deficit for a month now and it's simply impossible to lose weight. I started my deficit at 3000 calories and am now at 2500 calories, with 16k steps and 25 minutes of cardio per day. Before this cycle, these were typical parameters of my previous cuts and everything was going very well. Why is my weight so stable at 227lbs for several weeks now despite a diet and caloric expenditure that would normally lead to cutting ? Is it possible that I'm still making lean mass gains in a deficit and losing fat, which would keep my weight balanced on the scale ?
Thank you so much for your responses.
