Recoup cycle, what, how much, how often?

Well, it's been a while since I have done a cycle and was looking to hop back onto the anabolic train.

Later this year I intend on running a test/tren/var cycle but for now I was going to do a 8 week test only cycle to just get me back into it.

I was thinking of doing prop and doing either EOD doses or weekly.

Currently 6' 220 lbs at about 15%.

Any recommendation on what kind of test, what dosage and how often would help.
I lift 4-6 days a week depending on the week.

if your gonna do an 8 week cycle then prop would work. I personally will never shut myself down for anything less then 12 weeks but thats me. I like your idea of running a test only to get back in the game. The tren/test/var will be a bad ass cycle when you feel ready to run it...but your idea is a good one

ps...test p is dosed either eod or mon/wed/fri

Or dosed everyday if you're not a pussy and can handle that much pinning unlike some guys I know ^^^

I 'd rather do 12 weeks as Cobra said. Especially if you have to go thru pct . I'd say the 12 weeks just to make it worth the hastle. How long has it been since your last cycle?

I would take the cycle to 12 weeks and run a test prop/ test cyp cycle. Opening up and closing it with test prop.

Wk 1-3 test prop-test cyp
Wk 3-9 test cyp
Wk 9-12 test prop.

not a bad idea. for someone in his shoes it should make for a good run.

for a re comp just make sure to limit carbs past 6-7pm, cardio 3-5x a wk @ 30-50min, and maybe toss in some T3.

The idea is good, but starting Test Cyp in week 3 is terrible. I'm not trying to flame you bro, just trying to explain my reasoning. For most people, you don't see visible results from test cyp until after week 5. If you don't start until week 3 then it would be after week 8 that the cyp would start to play it's role. Because, remember, if you are only running prop the first 3, that's pretty much gone by week 4. Here is how I would modify that:

Test Cyp 500mg EW Weeks 1-10
Test prop 100mg MWF Weeks 1-3
Test prop 100-150mg MWF Weeks 11-14

By week 15 you are surely ready to start PCT with the Cyp cleared.

If you wanted to stick to the short 8 weeker, the main benefit of this (especially with just test) is that you can make a much faster recovery. After 8 week cycles I recover nicely after just 3 weeks of clomid and nolva therapy. With 12 week cycles I usually don't recover until much after the 4 weeks of PCT are over, thus prolonging when I can start my next cycle. Since he is just getting back into things an 8 weeker with an easier recovery may be of benefit to him. Also, this gives him the chance to be ready quicker for the cycle he really wants to run with big boy tren ;)

Always remember to get labs in the weeks leading up to starting a cycle just to see where you are at.... I cannot stress this enough. If you don't have enough money to order a $60 lab test then you dont' have enough money to be running cycles, lol
