Paused SSB squats
105lbs x 12

Front foot elevated ssb split squats
65lbs x 15 per leg
70lbs x 13 per leg
This was a nice change from doing db split squats. I think I'll keep it in for a while.

Elevated hip thrusts
170lbs x 10
120lbs x 13 + BW glute bridge

Pin good mornings
60lbs x 10 - pin was set a bit too low
65lbs x 10 - better, felt great.

Loved today's session, my legs feel beat now.

Did a back workout yesterday. I might change a couple back exercises to see if some other grips or handles might work better for me. Everything else I'm doing right now feels great and I'm seeing some progress. Back is kinda staying the same.

I'll probably rest tomorrow and do shoulders Wednesday. Unless I wake up feeling super refreshed, which I doubt.

I ain't no Andrew quad bulge, heh. But this is a really exciting place for me! It's been great finally seeing some changes.


Couple things at random:

I am going to watch a few Dr. Mike back videos to see what I should add/swap from my back-day routine.
I also think based off a mock schedule I saw that one of my work weeks will have more work days/less days off and one will have more days off/less work days. I will probably need to look at a two-week time period to determine frequency instead of just week by week.

I also will always stick to 2 leg days per week and then alternate more shoulder frequency with back frequency depending on the week's schedule.

I read a few things online about night shift slowing your metabolism with its effect to blood sugar and whatnot (getting paranoid, haha), so I thought ok, during nights I'll have protein powder, and some tea and stick to eating meals only during daytime hours. I also thought I could try Medimucil since it says it helps stabilize blood sugar. I tried it yesterday and DAMN! That is the most disgusting tasting thing I have ever consumed. I think I will just buy flavorless psyllium husk or w/e. It's a no from me, dawg!!!

Lastly, I told ADHD guy I didn't want to talk anymore because he kept making plans with me and canceling then remaking new plans then canceling. What a weird thing. I wasn't initiating conversations or pressuring to hang out at all. I am not sure why he kept trying to talk to me and make plans only to keep canceling them. *shrug*

Anyway, today was a great workout. OH! I finally had a sex dream about Dr. Frasier Crane, HAH! Well, it was more of an "intimacy dream". How lovely. I think it's because I watched 4 episodes of Fraiser before bed and then pictured myself being a guest actor on his show, heh. Very cozy feeling to wake up to.

Also, quads are obviously there. You could get them to pop out more with some practice posing.. at least I think so. My basis for that comment is all the time I spend practicing in the shower, pretending like I have big muscles 😂

Very cool! Yeah, I definitely never expected to be earning money just from poorly filming my basement workouts while talking about the random crap in my head, LOL.
